Loled Virtual Indiemark 3 Lens Encoder
- Product Code: ga153013

The updated Indiemark 3 Lens Encoder from LOLED Virtual allows you to capture and send high-resolution lens barrel rotation data to 3D virtual production applications, including Unreal Engine, Vive Mars, Disguise D3, VYV, Pixera, and Aximmetry. The Indiemark 3 Lens Encoder is created for smaller productions and enthusiasts. The updated encoder features a right-angle USB cable clamp, a 1/4"-20 anti-twist thread, and an updated adjustable 15/19mm rod clamp. An RGB LED display on the side displays operational status.
The encoder is managed by the included free-download LOLED LONET lens mapping software for Windows. Through this software, you can send the lens adjustment data to 3D production applications. It is capable of providing a 1:1 correlation between a physical and virtual camera lens. Delivering 4000 counts per revolution, which is 2x the resolution of the previous models, it can detect movement smaller than human hair, and the translated lens data is sent with sub-frame latency at 60 fps via the USB-C interface at up to 1000 Hz.
Its compact size allows you to use it with handheld rigs and gimbals. The supplied lens gear features a 0.8 MOD for cine lenses but is interchangeable with optional gears for ENG lenses.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Does it come with a power cable? I wanted to ask if this can work for hours if I leave it connected to the power cable or it will always last only 1 hour because only the battery lasts?
A: Yes is does come with a power cable.
Q: 2. How much storage space does this device have?
A: The Videon EdgeCaster 4K Ultralow-Latency Encoder has no storage whatsoever. It is an encoder, not a drive.
Q: 3. is one year lrt subscription includes in $995 ?
A: No, a subscription to LRT is not included with this product. The subscription must be purchased separately.
Q: 4. Can this be used with a Verizon Jetpack or only the Netgear Router that comes with it?
A: Yes, this will work with a Verizon Jetpack.
Q: 5. Can I use the sim card from my mobile phone in the Modems used by the LiveU solo?
A: The modems will take any SIM card that has an active plan affiliated with it.
Q: 6. The $45 monthly fee is for bonding, then I need cellular subscriptions as well? I add the sim cards to the LiveU Solo? How many can I add?
A: You will have to pay for a cellular subscription as well as the bonding fee. The bonding allows you to connect 2 Cellular Networks along with 1 WiFi and 1 Ethernet Signal. You can connect 2 Cellular Modems.
Q: 7. Does this device require an annual support contract?
A: The Videon EdgeCaster EZ Encoder (Single Output) provides a one-year warranty on the product from the manufacturer. Still, for additional support, advanced replacement, hardware upgrade, and exclusive early access to beta features and apps, the VCare and VCARE+ should be considered. Q: 8. Does the Solo do bonding without the LRT service? I know the Solo can be used without LRT, but is there any form of bonding without LRT? It's not clear to me from reading the LiveU Solo Expert responses.
A: Thats good question. I bought a solo from B&H. It was cheaper at 995 bucks without LRT.Upon firing up the unit for the first streaming it pumped me right into LRT. I checked out my account and it said I'd purchased it from another source.I dont have any record of that but I'm using it anyway.
Q: 9. Does the Solo only run off of its internal battery, or may it be powered via wall wart or other external power source?
A: You can use either. There is a 120 minute internal battery as well as a power cable.
Q: 10. Ok so I read here that the Solo streams to the solo portal at a set 5 secs delay. The stream is then sent to whatever destination we requested. OK, with that said, does that mean there are additional latency delays? So a 5 second delay and then the destination delay? IF that is what I read what is the total delay for the latency? That might make it harder for LIVE Q&A engagement.. Thanks for any feedback
A: There may be additional delays depending on the strength of the network signal on the other end. However you would need to test this out to see what those additional delays may be.
