Q: 4. What's the difference between the SP50 and SP20?

A: Design. The SP50 is slightly more finished looking. Go with whatever matched the style of your bag better. Both accept a 2 strap just fine. I went with the SP50 in brown to match a brown messenger bag I got from Levinger as a gift. Honestly, Levenger shoulda known better and didn't even include one. Anyhow, the shoulder pad looks almost like it was made for my bag. I can see restraining this piece too if it weren't a good match, it's not a very complicated piece of leather to deal with. Hope it helps.

My used Hadley Small came with no shoulder pad and I was reluctant to add one, imagining it would resemble typical shoulder pads. Finally tired of frequent adjustments, I splurged and was surprised by the quality (perfect fit, does not slip at all on the strap) and utility (lets me forget I'm carrying the bag, makes it easier to pick up the bag).

They are tough, only reason to buy another pair Is I keep loosing them, not cause they brake. Buy cheap knockoffs, they won't last a gig..

I have owned this bag for approximately a few months now. I wanted to give it some use before I sat down an wrote a review. Im happy I did. Obviously, from the crafter of this bag you would assume high quality and it absolutely lives up to that. The canvas, leather, brass and excellent padding add up to one fantastic package. However, what really impressed me is the ease of use/protection this bag offers. Ive had nice over the shoulder bags in the past, but the Rucksack really is my favorite. There is so much space to hold lenses, cameras and what else you may need (you can separately purchase side pockets if you need more space as well). I am able to carry three full frame lenses (50, 65, 135mm), my Sony a7 w/ battery pack and flash in the main padded section of the bag. I could possibly fit one more lens if needed. Another exceptional quality of the Rucksack is its weather sealing. I have tested it first hand in snow and heavy rain and its great! Nothing is wet on the inside of this bag. Overall, I cant say enough- Im a very satisfied customer!

I use these gloves for working in the theatre and out on the road. They are great in every way, from handling lights to moving heavy road cases. I love these gloves and would buy another pair.

The Billingham Shoulder Pad has: Typically excellent quality, materials, workmanship and design. Leather matches trim on bags. Most of all pad keeps bag strap on your body without unnecessary bulk.

I bought this shoulder pad to put on a leather Ipad messenger bag that I carry daily. The bag does not have a pad on the strap. I don't wear the bag across my body and the strap kept slipping off of my shoulder. This pad keeps the strap from slipping and it's comfortable. It is exactly what I was looking for.

I like to go light (weight and size). I have a small Billingham 72 for my Fuji X-E3 and absolutely love it. However, it will not hold an extra lens, so I moved up a notch to this S2 and it fits my needs perfectly. The styling, craftsmanship, and quality all go without saying. For me the downsides are two: The front pocket will not hold much and does not have a separate closure (just a top center snap). Second, I prefer the fully open style top of the smaller 72, whereas this S2 has a zipper closure under the cover making for an extra step and the camera does not slide in and out as easily as with the fully open top of the 72. However, these are minor personal preferences, and I would still buy this bag again.
