Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the country of origin?

A: As per records, the Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag is made in China. Please note that this information is subject to change at any time.

Q: 2. Will this accommodate Canon r7 with Canon rf 100-400mm lens?

A: The Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag is slightly too small to hold the Canon R7 with the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM Lens attached. The Ruggard Hunter Pro 75 DSLR Holster Bag (RUPHB675B) is big enough to hold that camera and lens combination.

Q: 3. Are the removal inserts in the bag the same length of the bag?

A: No they are shorter

Q: 4. It is possible to fit Z6ii and the 24-70 F2.8 S with the mounted lenshood? Thank you

A: Yes. Perfect match for the following toploader will even fit a 24-105mm lens attached to body.

Q: 5. Will the Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 bag hold my Sony A77ii with the attached VG-C77AM Vertical Grip and a Sony 18-135 SAM Lens ? I have a larger backpack style camera bag, but I am wanting a smaller option to just carry the camera/vertical grip/lens combo for short trips.

A: Best bet: call B&H and ask which bag fits your camera best. And if you like the Rugged bags (I do) ask which Ruggard bag is the best fit.Or you could do your own measuring: the camera from the back to the end of the lens, compared against the inner depth dimension in the specs (available on the product page, under the Specifications tab.

Q: 6. Would this fit Nikon Z6 wit 24-70 F/4?

A: Yes, it will fit.

Q: 7. HOW DOES THIS DEVICE SYNC TO THE LIGHTS?

A: The Powerhouse, PortaBright, Endeavor lights have built in receivers

Q: 8. Will a Nikon D850 with a grip and a 28-300 lens fit in this bag?

A: The Nikon D850 DSLR Camera with the battery grip with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens attached will not fit in the Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 DSLR Holster Bag. Instead, get the Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag, BH #RUPHB665B.

Q: 9. Will this hold a Nikon P950 with a Peak Design Slide strap attached?

A: The Nikon COOLPIX P950 Digital Camera with the Peak Design Slide strap fits in the Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 DSLR Holster Bag.

Q: 10. WILL THE D5 FIT INTO THE PRO 55?

A: It does not fit comfortably, I would recommend a larger bag if you don't want to struggle with the bag every time you add or remove the camera.

I have a Canon EF 70-300mm L lens, with a Canon lens ring mount and a tripod quick release plate always attached. I needed a holster bag big enough I could put my Canon 60D, with this lens attached into and this fits the bill with space to spare. It has multible dividers inside you can move around or remove. Has compartments for battery, sd cards, and other small acc. When not using this body/lens combo, I use this as a storage bag for this lens. This is my biggest, heaviest lens. I also keep my black rapid shoulder strap stored in this bag with the lens. Works perfect for those times i'm out shooting with only this lens/body and no other gear except acc (SD Cards, Batt, Etc.)

Great smaller bag for carrying around just my Nikon D810 to keep it out of the elements!

I sometimes need to walk around in a hazardous industrial environment with minimal equipment. This bag is great for when I'm carrying my Canon 5D Mark 2 with a medium zoom lens attached (Canon 24-105mm) and a Really Right Stuff L-plate on the body. Without the L-plate I can just about get away with a Tamrac 515 but this Ruggard bag is still a better size. I can put things in the front compartment without making it harder to remove the camera from the bag (that's a problem with the Tamrac if I have the hood reversed on the lens). I wasn't sure whether to go with this bag or Ruggard's slightly shorter 55 model. I think the 55 would have worked but I'm pleased I went with this one. It accommodates the camera, etc, with ease, but does not feel too large. I normally put the camera and lens in the bag with the hood reversed on the lens. But there is even room to leave the hood installed in shooting position. For me, that's a slight advantage of the 65 over the 55. An unexpected bonus is that if necessary I can attach a Lowepro Sliplock lens pouch to the loop on one side of this bag. It's a bit more cumbersome but works in extremis. The bag is solidly constructed and nicely padded. I'm very pleased with it and cannot think of anything negative to say about it.

This bag fits my Nikon D780 with the 24-120 zoom with the lens hood on. This bag provides great protection when I just want to carry then camera.

I have a Canon 80D with a Tamron 18-400 lens as my travel kit. I love this bag because I can put that in here and have enough room for an additional lens (a Canon 10-18mm). So when I am heading out to campus or the dog park, this is a great way to travel. I love the side pockets - big enough for batteries, cleaning clothes, hand sanitizer and an extra pair of reading glasses.

I previously used Tamrac holsters for my Nikon SLR cameras and was disappointed they are no longer available. However, the Hunter RG Pro 55 Holster is well-padded and durable with metal strap clips and double zippers on the top and front. The interior width (7.5 in) and height (6.5 in) allow easy access for your hand to reach in and grab the Nikon D750 which has dimensions of 6.0 in (w) and 4.5 in (h). In addition, the length (8.0 in) is more than enough for the D750 with a Nikkor 24-120 lens with HB-53 hood reversed; and, the 8.0 in length just allows the camera and lens to fit with the hood in forward (extended) position. I needed a deeper bag to accommodate the length when using an adapter for my F 28-300 lens with my new Z7 camera. Since my main use is when hiking, I was concerned that the bag would bang against the top of my leg. This has not been a problem. An unexpected bonus is that there is a zippered mesh pocket inside the zippered front pouch that is
a secure place for my cellphone when using SnapBridge.
