This Professional 17" SDI Teleprompter, Tripod, and Dolly Kit from ikan outfits you with a bright 17" teleprompter with 3G-SDI, HDMI, and VGA connections as well as a tripod and dolly to move it about your studio space. The tripod included in the bundle can support a camera rig weighing up to 23.8 lb without a counterweight to easily support your teleprompter configuration. A: The monitor will display whatever you feed it. It will work with programs beyond the software.

A: This is a very good dolly on smooth surfaces ... I would think you need larger wheels for artificial turf.Call and talk to B&H and ask for advice.

A: This Teleprompter comes with PrompterPro 3.0 Teleprompting Software which works with both a Mac and PC. We have Multimedia Controllers from Contour Design that work with the included software and is compatible with both Mac and PC as well. The Shuttle-Xpress would be a great choice.

Q: 5. Does the software support Dual monitors? The software does not mention it.

A: Dual monitor support would be a feature of the computer being used. If the computer supports dual monitors the software can send the signal to both.

Q: 6. Can the wheels be removed and replaced with track wheels?

A: Yes, the regular wheels can be removed and replaced with track wheels. The ProAm USA SolidTrax Universal Track Dolly Wheel Assembly B&H # PRDLSTW, will work great with the ProAm USA Professional Tripod Dolly. However, if you wish to go straight to track, you could consider the ProAm USA SolidTrax Universal Track Dolly B&H # PRDLST. It comes with the track wheels installed.

A: You can use any number of Tripods with this Teleprompter. E-Image has some very nice options that will work well for you.

A: The brightness, according to ikan's website, is 350 cd/m2.

Q: 10. If I use a dual VGA splitter coming out of a PC, can I duplicate the text simultaneously on two separate cameras?

A: According to ikan you should be able to do what you wish.

I've been shooting video for decades, and my move to mirrorless cameras has changed my need for my heavy old Bogen (made by Manfrotto) sticks. The VT-4000 was a Deal Zone special, but even at regular price ist is quite a value. Sturdy, well made, quick to set up. I use a cage or rig for my cameras, depending on the job, and they fit right in on this smooth, balanced head. Highly recommended 5

This is a work horse and not for those who are looking for light weight, easy to carry. This handles my larger lenses as well as my video cameras. I use it in the Vermont back country for long exposures with big glass. I love it! 5

So for my needs this is a good solid tripod actually anything is better than my amazon basics tripod. The swivel head works well , pretty smooth. I got this on sale for $129 and it’s gone on sale to $109. Why? That’s to me is the only thing wrong. 5
