A: This filter kit includes CTO filters which will convert a daylight source to a tungsten balanced source. This can be any daylight source, LED or otherwise.

Q: 4. Will this melt if I put it next to my speed ring on an Arri 1k open face?

A: These gels are heat resistant but will eventually fade and distort. I've only seen them melt when in direct contact (or very near proximity) with a halogen lamp. I think you'll be ok for awhile if the gel is on the outside of a lensed speed ring. Maybe check for sure with Rosco or Lee.

A: Full CTO will move the color temp from 5,600k to 2800k. 3/4 will do 5,600k to 3,200k. Smaller levels will do proportionally less.

A: I have been vey pleased with it but at some time plan on getting a faster (f stopes) and closer focusing lens at a particular focal length yet to be determined. In the mean time i'm very happy. I have never used a lens that focused faster or quieter. Its amazing to me. Also, its a little too early to judge sharpness. But so far excellent.
