The CS MFC-22 Follow Focus from Cambo is a follow focus unit which incorporates the swivelling design of the CS-MFC-2 and provides extra stability by mounting onto two parallel 15mm rods. The CS MFC-22 features two adjustable hard stops to limit the focus draw between two desired points which can be placed independently between 3 and 345 degrees from each other; this is particularly convenient when using lenses that do not have hard stops on the focus ring.

The swiveling feature allows you to easily switch lenses and adjust the follow focus unit to fit different diameter lenses using only one hand. You can also shift the unit forward or backwards by releasing the mounting knob. The follow focus can be mounted onto your rig's rods without removing other accessories from them.

The CS MFC-22 is also able to reverse its rotation direction to accommodate the inverse focus direction of the DSLR lenses.

Q: 1. I have a Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm zoom with a continuous focus ring. How can I use the FF-T03 Follow Focus with this lens? It looks like there isn't a manual with this system?

A: to attach the follow focus you will have to mount the camera on a rig. At least on a camera support with a 15mm rod system. Ikan Tilta have nice rigs too. The follow focus will mount nicely to the rods. Included in the follow focus are some gear ribbons to mount around the lens focus ring. It works perfect. However you will have to make up your mind wether you really need all this setup, as everything gets a bit bigger, bulky and heavier.The Ikan Tilta follow focus is very well made, good quality and dos the job well.I use it with the Sony F3 and larger film cameras.All the best.

Q: 2. Is this the same product as the Alphatron?

A: The only Alphatron Follow Focus unit we have is the Triad RF-15. While that also connects to 15mm rods it has a different overall design. They are not the same product.

A: Hmm, you can check for logos and parts present in the product specs and photos. Buying from unverified sources can lead to purchasing false product. Our best advise is to only buy from known, reputable dealers that you can verify, like B&H.

Q: 4. How much does this unit weigh? The specs say 5lbs, but the package weight says 2.95lbs. I heard it was heavy but 5lbs seems a bit much.

A: I don't know exactly how much it weighs but its certainly not heavy. I highly recommend this follow focus. it's very precise. I am used to Arri and Chrosziel, This Tilta keeps up... and my assistants always comment on how nice it is.

A: The Tilta FF-T03 15mm Follow Focus with Hard Stops comes with five flexible gears for your lens and 0.5, 0.6, and 08 MOD drive gears.

A: Hello,Unfortunately, no. If you need something for 19mm rails, I recommend either the FF-T05-v2 or, to get fancy, the PDL-F from PD Movie.

A: I haven't tried it, but a suspect it won't work with a lens like that. The sideways movement on this follow focus is not very extensive, so it may not work. If you are using a lens like that, I recommend you use either a wireless FF unit or an Arri studio follow focus like the FF4.

Q: 10. Can you change the gearing to 1:1.8 for Cine Lens?

A: This follow focus uses 0.8 pitch gears. 0.8 gears are the industry standard for follow focus rings in the cinema industry therefore this follow focus is compatible with most cinema lenses.
