Great bag for a photographer. Just enough room to try pack what you need. Constructed like a tank. Can handle all elements you will face.

This review may be a little longer than what is typical for me. I have been a fan of Domke since the mid 70's. The F-5XB is a bit different to what one may expect from Domke. First the the bag holds it's shape and there is a fair amount of padding. As with all Domke products it will hold a lot. There is a very over designed double zipper covering the main compartment. Scratching isn't going to be an issue and moving the double zippers to the center of the bag prior to attaching the flap will help keep curious fingers out of your gear. Some have complained that the pockets do not have covers or fasteners. If the top flap is fastened properly this isn't much of an issue. [I probably wouldn't use the front pocket for a passport or phone.]. Another comment in some of the reviews is that the hook and loop fastener on the top flap doesn't line up properly. There is a reason for this. If you pull the flap tight about 1/2 hook and loop will be aligned. This will reduce the noise, i.e. when in places of worship, when you open the flap. You can also carry items under the top flap, like a small tripod or light jacket. In this case more of the hook and loop lines up. I have even carried a small tripod in the belt loop. [That is obviously an open end pocket so you have to pay attention that everything is secure and not going to slide out.]. This is my first RuggedWare bag. So far I like it and have not had any issues with excess wax. [I am in my 70s. My F6 took me almost 20 years to break-in. I figured this process may be faster with waxed canvas.] Domke products are a little more high tech than it my first appear. I DEFINITELY would recommend this product.

This bag would have been great in the days I carried a Leica M2 or M4 rangefinder plus a couple of lenses. It's perfect now for my Canon M6 Mark II, the kit zoom, and two primes. Strong, tight, indestructible Domke construction; nothing superfluous; it looks like a military surplus ammunition pouch; a go-everywhere sidekick of a bag.

This bag is perfect for my Cannon camera and two lenses. It's great for day trips and easy to pack alongside my day pack. My order was quickly processed and delivered as scheduled. I will definitely be purchasing all my cameras and supplies from B&H.

Great quality in a small package. I am using it with two small rangefinder cameras.

This bag, while on the small side, is full be for a Leica m with two lenses (one mounted). No room for much else but otherwise really nice for the price.

Perfect size for M Leica with lens . Two 6 tall other compartments hold other small diameter m Lenses. I have a 75 2.0 APO in one.

Other film cameras will fit like Nikon F but with less lenses. Most of todays DSLR cameras are too large.

Construction is same as other Domke bags. It has a nice slot on back to change it to waist bag or add a military belt . One cross chest and one around waist and then it does not slip around and is secure.
