Use the K-Tek KP14V Mighty Boompole on your next set thanks to its wide overall 3.8 to 14' extension range and 3/8"-16 mounting screw for wide shotgun microphone attachment compatibility. The uncabled boompole features five telescoping sections with twist locks for intuitive length adjustment. Remove the headpiece and bottom rubber bumper to feed through a separately available XLR cable without needing to solder.

A: This is the real K-Tek GPSS mount. What seems to be grayed out in the photo is the swivel mount which features a 3/8 -16 threading for mounting. the suspension points on the GPSS are spaced at 2 inches.

This Product is amazing. It is strong, lightweight, and has a 3-pin XLR cable built right into it. There isn't much I can say about a boom pole, but it does work great indoors and outdoors. 5

I really like this boom. It's my first one, but it's great that it has an internal cable instead of those annoying thread-through xlr booms. It's really convenient because you can just snap on your shotgun mic and plug and xlr cable into the end of the pole and your good to go! The pole can be really short, or really long and it feels pretty durable. 5
