    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi! will it fit the new Nikon z8?

A: No, 3 Legged Thing Zelda Dedicated L-Bracket for Nikon Z 5, Z 6, Z 6 II, Z 7 & Z 7 II Cameras is not compatible with the New Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera. 3 Legged Thing may develop a dedicated L-bracket in the following month after the Z8 release. In the mean time I would recomend a universal L bracket.

Q: 2. Is this L-bracket compatible with the ZF?

    A: No, the 3 Legged Thing Zelda Dedicated L-Bracket for Nikon Z 5, Z 6, Z 6 II, Z 7 & Z 7 II Cameras (Copper) is not compatible with the ZF.

Q: 3. Does the Zelda Z7 L bracket work on a Really Right Stuff Ball Head?

A: Unfortunately, this bracket is not compatible with RRS clamps.

Q: 4. Will this L-Bracket mount on the FTZ adapter?

A: This mounts to the camera body, and according to other users, does not interfere with the FTZ adapter when mounted.

Q: 5. How does it fit on the Z6 ii? Are there any issues as the z6 ii is slightly different from the z6.

A: It does fit on the Z6II without any issues. The cameras are identical enough that they didn't need to change anything especially because the biggest physical difference is the bigger grip. Which this bracket doesn't go over.

Q: 6. would I be able to add the Peak Design PL-S-3 Standard Plate to the bottom this l-bracket?

A: Yes, the bottom of the 3 Legged Thing Roxie-B L-Bracket for Canon EOS R5 and R6 does have a 1/4" screw opening like a camera has, so you can screw a plate there.

Q: 7. Can you put a Sony A6100 with grip, a Tamron 28-75mm attached plus a blow and cleaning tissues into the bag?

A: Unfortunately, the Domke F-5XB RuggedWear Shoulder and Belt Bag (Brown) is too narrow to fit a camera with a battery grip attached.

Q: 8. Is this item new and unused?

A: Yes, all items listed on our website are new unless marked otherwise.

Q: 9. Several older reviews mention the waxiness of the bag and that it comes off on your hands. Is that still true in 2022?

A: Yes. Was true with the original Domke was bit heavy on the wax but has now been accommodated and fixed. No wax issues on our end.

Q: 10. I use the Peak Design Capture Clip. I bought the Ellie PD that has the PD plate built into it, but the overall design does interfere with the remote plug, as well as the left lens strap clip (forced upwards). So I'm thinking of trading for the Zelda, but it does not have the PD plate built to it. Can I safely and securely attach my own PD plate to the Zelda? Thanks.

A: If you are referring to connecting a Peak Design quick release plate onto the bottom of the 3 Legged Thing Zelda Dedicated L-Bracket, then as the unit does have a 1/4"-20 female threaded socket on the base of the L-bracket, you would be able to connect a quick release plate to this bracket.
