Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this paper require Matte Black or Photo Black in the printer? Another way of getting at this: What is the appropriate ICC profile? I do not see it listed in my printer menu; I have Photo Black loaded in the printer, which means the software lists, fo the most part, only ICCs that use PK. . . But I also am not finding any ICCs on the Epson website (says the ICC for this paper comes with the software), so I am guessing this paper requires MK (Matte Black). . .Any help will be much appreciated!

A: This is a polypropylene-base media and will need to be printed with the Photo Black ink cartridge. The ICC profile is supplied with the Standard Epson Driver.

Q: 2. Can I use this paper with the Epson Stylus Pro 9890?

A: yes!

Q: 3. I am using Epson ultra chrome ink. Will it work? Using Epson Stylus Pro 9600 printer.

A: Yes, it will work as long you use it with the Epson Stylus Pro 9600 Print Engine model.

Q: 4. Is there a rebate active for the B&H # EPCPN2450 MFR # S042304?

A: Epson has had rebates at different times but looking at the web site I do not see one active at this time. B&H has been good about identifying rebates and sending emails if I had bought one roll and there would be ones available.

Q: 5. I have an Epson Stylus Pro 9800. Do you know the ICC profile for the Epson Cold Press Natural Archive Paper?

A: Go on Epson website, choose the paper you want, then scroll and find the ICC profile for your printer. Download the ICC profile.

Q: 6. If it says Matte Finish, does this mean one must use Matte Black in the printer?

A: The matte finish designates the type of finish on the paper regardless of the ink, so you could use your photo black ink loaded in your printer. A warning though, This paper seams to not stick well to many surfaces and warps in sunlight.

Q: 7. Can this stick to cardboard?

A: Yes, that will work.

Q: 8. What is the correct printer profile for this paper?

A: You have to select Enhanced Adhesive Synthetic Paper as Media Type setting in your printer driver. If thats is not listed, select Media 2 . If these settings are not listed, select Adhesive Synthetic Paper . If Enhanced Adhesive Synthetic Paper and Media 2 are not listed, and you want to print with even higher saturation than the Adhesive Synthetic Paper setting, select Glossy Paper-Photo Weight as the Media Type setting in your printer driver. However, colors in your printout may not exactly match the colors in your original.

Q: 9. Will I be able to run this paper through an Epson Stylus Pro 3800?

A: Yes it is compatible with the Epson Pro 3800.

Q: 10. what kind of surface does this stick best on?

A: it still really well on metal and glass. It can also be used on drywall, but the wall must be sanded and cleaned first for it to really stick... and over time it sort of begins to peel away.
