Love that this takes the pressure off my neck, the way this is designed it keeps my camera out of the way until I'm ready to snap my photos.

I bought it to use with a longer lens and it works so I can walk comfortably with the set-up!

This well-designed camera strap is great for active photo shoots. It keeps camera and lens steady even when climbing or bending over. It is so much more practical than carrying my D850 with a heavy lens using the neck strap included with the camera. I recommend following the instructions in the video at the BlackRapid website on how to make optimal adjustments since the included leaflet is not as informative. I purchased an extra Fasten R FR-5 that I attach to the tripod collar of my long zoom and attach the included fastener to my camera body. That way, I can quickly switch lenses. The salesperson at the store was very helpful. He helped me find the strap that best fit my needs.

Expensive, yes. 3x my other prior slings

Worth it. Yes. Addresses multiple issues like shifting when walking - useful under arm strap and also… it stays on my back when I bend forward for any number of reasons.

It was more expensive than any other sling I purchased to date but if you carry a ‘heavier’ camera lens combo.. it’s really nice to have.

Set out for a two mile walk yesterday with this strap carrying my D810 and new Nikkor 500 5.6 PF Lens.
I was really really happy with it.
I was able to walk hands free and not worry about the camera. Right now it is attached to the camera body tripod socket but I plan on moving it to the aftermarket foot on my lens to see if it carry's as well as it did attached to the body.
I'd like to see Black River come out with this strap in camo options for the left handed people.
Right now lefty's are only able to purchase black but don't let that stop you if your undecided.
It's a great strap to carry your gear. It handled the body and 500 PF lens EASILY. I suspect it could do a heavier lens as well.

As an avid hiker and nature photographer I absolutely love this camera strap! My camera hangs at my hip and stays in place when I'm hiking, it leaves my hands free for other activities, and it is so much more comfortable than my neck strap.

This is my third strap like this. I managed to lose one recently. Now that I have a replacement, I'll probably find the one I lost.

I find myself this strap very comfortable, I think that it is actually more comfortable than the traditional one. I use it a lot to carry my camera while traveling around. I am so satisfied with it, there is no bad things about this product.

I go for a birding walk near my home nearly every day. For each outing I would typically choose to take either binoculars or camera with 100-400 mm zoom. To carry both around my neck was cumbersome so one or the other usually stayed behind. Not infrequently, that led to some small regret - a quick little bird in the bush not identified or a cool behavior not photographed. The BlackRapid strap now allows me to comfortably and securely carry binoculars and camera with both fully accessible.
