Q: 1. Any pictures of the inside of the bag?

A: The F-2 RuggedWear bag is exactly the same as a F-2 original bag (other than the waxed/oiled finish used on a RuggedWear bag). Please click on this link to see the interior of a Domke F-2 Original bag which would be the same for a F-2 RuggedWear bag -https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/15981-REG/Domke_700_02S_F_2_Original_Shoulder_Bag.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/15981-REG/Domke_700_02S_F_2_Original_Shoulder_Bag.html/a

Q: 2. Regarding wax finish; presuming material is much like many Filson waxed materials. Was not impressed by Tiffen Rep stating "shouldn't be a problem" DAUGH...NO IT SHOULDN'T. So have any of you tried waxing then warming with hair dryer and wiping down with clean cotton cloth to enhance water resistance and improve appearance while eliminating the greasey fee of excessive wax? I just wish it had the FX2 hand strap in addition. Maybe a couple slots for pen & penlight.

A: This bag has been a classic for 40 years and is perhaps the favorite bag of professionals. Any issues during that time seem not to be insurmountable.

Q: 3. Could this bag carry EFS-18-55mm macro lens,EF 75-300mm F/4-5.6III,EF 70-200mm F/4L IS USM Canon Rebel T5 1200D camera and accessory?

A: Yes, it will hold all your gear.

Q: 4. Looking at F2 Rugged and the nylon version. Do either come with any type of cover or is one more rain resistant than the other?

A: While neither version comes with a cover, they are equally water resistant.

Q: 5. Can this bag's shoulder strap go across my chest? Putting any kind of bag on my shoulder is a good way for it to fall off.

A: To accurately answer this question requires a bit more somatic information. I stand six feet and weight 162 pounds. The shoulder strap expands allowing me to place it across my chest. The bag will ride at waist level. This is my third F-2 in 35 years. I continue to use the other two. One I've had since the early nineties (the other from mid-eighties) is stretched out and hangs a bit lower. The older bags have only one point for strap adjustment this newer bag has two. I have lengthened the strap on one side to its maximum leaving about 6 inches remaining on the other side. The bag material new is stiff at first though over time and with use softens and stretches somewhat.

Q: 6. What are the inner dimensions of this bag? If I buy I would like to find a removable cube that fits inside.

A: The Domke F-2 Shoulder Bag (Brown) inner dimensions are 11 x 8.5 x 6.5".

Q: 7. Can I fit a 6d w/ kit lens and a film slr with a 50 prime in this bag and still carry 2 spare lenses?

A: The case would not be able to accomodate that gear list with the lenses mounted to the cameras. You would be able to fit 4 total lenses in the center of the bag, and one body on each side of it in the main compartment, but without the lenses mounted.

Q: 8. Is it possible to get the new MacBook Pro 15 in it?

A: There are no dedicated laptop compartments in this bag.

Q: 9. #1 Small enough for airplane carry on?#2 Will it fit in overhead bin of airplaneThank you

A: Place under seat until takeoff, then place under feet to improve blood circulation on long flights.

Q: 10. Are the dividers inside the 4 compartment insert sewn to the walls or are they velcro?

A: Velcro and adjustable

The bag is used in my profession as a working free lance photographer. It is well compartmentlized for easy access to all my gear. I can't think of anything that is as you say that aren't so great about it.

As expected, the Domke F-2 is an absolute classic. Sturdy, simple, no-nonsense, as any pro equipment should always be. It's not as big as one would expect for today's standards. I mean, its kinda compact for the bulky DSLR people use today (and the huge zoom lenses). But if you're looking for something to carry one body and 2 or 3 lenses for a walk around town (or in the middle of a jungle) hunting that perfect shot, its the right bag.

I've gone through many bags trying to find one that is easy to workout of, carry a good amount of equipment and comfortable. Finally found it in the domke f-2. Like most others when I received this bag I could not believe I was gonna fit as much gear as people have mentioned. When I started adding my equipment I just kept loading more and more and was amazed how much fit. I was debating about the gray color but at only $ I couldnt justify spending more money for the ruggedwear or other color. If your considering this bag, but it, even at full retail price its worth every penny.

perfect bag for DSLR users. Its nice that you can pop out the bottom padding to gain more room. Not quite as big as the descriptions imply but still good for a shoot where you need just a few lenses and maybe an extra body. ON SALE PRICE MADE IT MORE THAN WORTH IT.

Careful examination of the received bag detailed great construction, rugged materials and quality stitching throughout. I needed a bag for the D700, 24-70, 105mm and 50mm primes as well as space for future lenses. This bag more than accommodates my needs. Quick access storage pockets give quick access to white/grey cards, memory cards, etc. Internal padding is very soft and doesn't snag on the outer edges of the lenses. Straps are rugged and comfortable. Another huge plus is the Made in USA tag STITCHED on the inside :)

Great bag and looks good. I investigated thoroughly upon receipt for greasiness or overtreatment, but it was fine. If there are no lenses on the bodies, you can store 2 bodies, and 4 lenses or flashes. Great bag.

Love everything about it, perfect for day shooting. Only complaint is the price, but if you have the money it is worth it.

My photography buddy has had a similar bag for years and I have always loved how easy it seemed for her to just grab her camera out and flip the top over with no hassles of making sure the flap is locked because the velcro does a great job while you're out shooting. I just love it!

Have tried many different bags. Finally keep only 3: 1 roller case for events, 1 waistpack/backpack for backpacking, and 1 Domke F2 for everything else. Einstein said, Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler. The Domke F2 is exactly it. I carry 2 D800's with 35 1.4 and 85 1.4 attached, plus whatever extras needed on different occasions. I think the olive green fits me best. That's all. Get the Domke 720-250D insert. Place the base plate inside this insert. BAM!
