Q: 1. May not be needed with this low power and wide view but does it have threads to accept a tripod adaptor?

Q: 2. I saw it mentioned in one review that the wax finish of this bag will get on your equipment. I don't think it's a widespread issue because I haven't seen it mentioned more, but it was one of my concerns as soon as I read about the treatment. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does the treatment physically transfer to your gear, or create any type of haze from fumes, etc.? I like the idea of extra water resistance, but will go with a non-ruggedwear version if it's an issue.Thanks for your answers.

A: I do not notice any transfer of wax. I stopped using it after only a week because it was very uncomfortable to carry even after I bought the accessory pad for the strap. It's now collecting dust in my closet.

Q: 3. Will this insert add any rigidity to the F2 bag? My F2 is a little too "floppy".

A: From personal experience, the dividers add very little to the rigidity of the bag, but make it very lightweight and easy to travel with. There is adequate protection for most cameras and lenses as long as I am not too rough with my gear. Going along with some of the other answers to this question, the underneath/external side of the Domke dividers have pockets where the foam is inserted. You might want to consider adding firmer/more rigid material (such as cardboard) on top of the foam just to add even more rigidity.

Q: 4. Is this supposed to be seamless? I want to buy this but like the other reviewer mentioned, if it has a seam, I'd be sending it right back.

A: These 8x8 do have a seam.

Q: 5. Does the 'ball head' let you tilt the phone? I need to mount my phone on the end of a monopod and hold it low to the ground, but it must be tilted so that I can see the horizon cleanly from a low angle.

A: Yes! You adjust as you need like a ball head mount.

Q: 6. Does it come with the Gearup Pro Camera Box XXL II insert?

A: No, the Lowepro Photosport X AW Bag (Green, 45L) does not come with the Lowepro Gearup Pro Camera Box XXL II, BH #LOLP37479.

Q: 7. Is there a sleeve for some A4 size documents please?

A: There is a rear pocket that will neatly fit a 25cm X 18cm notebook but it will not fit a folder of A4 paper unfolded. The rear pocket is fine for a small tablet or spiral bound note pad or engagement book but not full sized documents.

Q: 8. would it work with f3?

A: This insert has dimensions of 6.25 x 11.5 x 8.0 , while the Domke F-3x has interior dimensions of 5.5 x 9 x 8.5 . Based on this information the insert is larger than the interior of the bag.

Q: 9. Will this work on iPhone 12 Pro MAX?

A: No, the MeFOTO SideKick360 Smartphone Tripod Adapter will not work with the iPhone 12 Pro MAX.

Q: 10. Can anyone say whether a 15" 2018 Macbook Pro can fit in the laptop sleeve of the 45M? I know it says 13", but if it could squeeze in, this bag might be perfect.

Can't ask for a better crafted bag! Rugged and just feels like it will last a lifetime. Easily holds my Fuji X-Pro 1 with (lens attached),Fuji 55-200mm & 23mm lenses and Carl Zeiss Touit 12mm & 32mm lenses. Also in the bag are a flash, macro tube and various filters and other items. Still room for another lens or two. If I ever need a bigger bag, it will be another Domke! 5

I purchased this bag for use on a trip to the eastern caribbean, where I wore it for several hours each day we were in port. It easily carried all my gear and was quite comfortable. Access to items in the bag was quick and easy for the most part. The metal hooks which keep the top flap close are very secure and keep everything safe, though difficult to open/close one-handed (if you care about such things). I would have preferred some way to attach my tripod apart from just sandwiching it between the top flap and the main compartment. There may, in fact, be such functionality - I just haven't taken much time to determine the best way to do so. Overall, very pleased with this bag and its performance on this trip. Highly recommended. 5

I use this for walking around the city now instead of my lowepro backpack. I find it more comfortable and can access my gear easier and quicker than when using the backpack. I can fit a 6D with 35mm lens attached and have room for 4 other lenses. If just bringing 3 additional lenses I can fit a flash. I put the lens hood into one of the end pockets because they do not fit well in the dividers attached to the lens. Plenty of room in the pockets for batteries, memory cards and other accessories. The bag is very well made and offers enough protection of your gear. There has been people who had issues with the wax coming off and getting onto their clothing and gear, my hands did feel a little waxy when I first handled the bag in the store it was never an issue for me and still isn't at time of this review. This is a great bag and highly recommend it. 5

Have tried several bags but none function as well as the Domke F2. Quick, easy access to your gear. No need to dig for a lens or flash just do a quick pick and get to work. Rugged construction and comfortable to carry. Liked the first one I use for business so much I bought a second for my street gear! 5

Going to a Sony Mirrorless A7II system has allowed me to go back to my all-time favourite bag the Domke F-2. It just works with the FE lenses and smaller camera bodies. Its a class that is perfect in today's mirrorless world. 5

Works great. Holds D200, 3 lenses, flash and accesories. Designed to allow access to all your gear, it makes changing lenses and attaching flash easy and fast. The heavy canvas, and stiching are great. The velcro closure on the front opens easily and quitely a for hook and loop style fastener. 5

I love this bag. I originally bought a used one that had some rough wear and tear. After a few years and weddings, some of the seems started ripping. So, instead of looking for other bags, I just bought a brand new one. This bag fits what I need for almost any situation. You can fit 2 bodies 3-6 lenses (double stack small primes in the deep dividers), a flash, and tons of accessories in the front and side pockets. Its a thin material without external padding so it conforms to your body. Some might like it, some might not. But that also means you can cram more into the bag because it will deform. If i had to nitpick for faults, I would say the hand strap needs some work. It can cause the bag to lean forwards or backwards instead of staying upright. But I'm usually using the shoulder strap. 5
