A: The Verbatim Ultra-Life Gold Archival Grade DVDs are not inkjet printable. Their finish is just that... gold. I suppose one could write on them with a marker but I don't as I want these in pristine condition. I only use these for making masters that I want to stand the test of time. As for my copies that I produce for everyday use, and with inkjet labels, I use Verbatim DVD-R #94854 (spindle of 50) which ARE inkjet printable. I have used these for many years and have always had excellent results. Stay away from other brands. The color never reproduces very well on other brands and you might have several that do not duplicate correctly. I've never had a problem with Verbatim and I would not change brands.
