IOGEAR secure KVM switches comply with NIAP PP v4.0 security certification, meeting the latest cybersecurity requirements from the U.S. government. The secure KVM also meets with the Common Criterial Compliance as part of the international Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement. The unit also meets with all TAA-compliant guidelines.

IOGEAR secure KVM switch hardware security is comprised of tamper-evident seals, active chassis intrusion detection, and tamper-proof hardware. Compliance with NIAP Protection Profile v4.0 certifies that non-approved USB peripherals will be rejected and cannot be connected to the secure KVM switch, providing high-level security, protection, and data safekeeping. With the combination of physical and software security, secure KVM switches offer secure air-gap network isolation to prevent internal and external access to individual systems consolidating multiple workstations with varying security classification levels.

IOGEAR Secure KVM switches control and isolate data flow between the console device and the connected computers, preventing any data transfer between the connected computers. Data channel isolation prevents data leakage between connected computers via isolated channel per port and unidirectional data flow is ensured between the console devices and the selected computer.

Securely select and switch between systems with the optional external remote port selector that provides full operator control for an optimized user experience.

The always-on keyboard, mouse, and display EDID emulation ensures isolation between peripherals and connected computers, allowing you to easily swap between connected devices without needing to reset your entire system.

The IOGEAR secure KVM switches physically isolate sensitive networks and network assets from any exposure to the public internet and are only accessible with authorized permissions. Additionally, these secure KVM switches filter or block exposed USB ports on servers and desktop computers to ensure the data integrity is never compromised. Designed originally for military and federal intelligence agencies, secure KVM switches can serve many organizations including government, military, commercial, and more.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Why do you need the filter if you are wearing proper safety glasses?

A: You need the filter to protect your camera's sensor before and after totality. You should remove it during totality. Also, use the camera's display screen and not the viewfinder to protect your eyes.

Q: 2. What lens should go with this type of camera. I only used a large camera once, which I borrowed from a friend. I don't know much about large format, so please, be nice to me. thanks!

A: To add to the previous reply, we currently offer the Linhof Super-Symmar Aspheric XL 80mm f/4.5 Lens in Copal #0 Shutter, BH # LISSX80 as the only traditional large format film lens that cover up to 5 x 7 format. Additionally, our Used Department may reach some large format lenses and you could always check back there for updates. https://bhpho.to/3wN2pTp

Q: 3. I only have a viewfinder on my Nikon D3300. I assume I need to have my solar Glasses on as well as the camera solar filter?

A: Once the filter is secure you can look through the viewfinder. If you wear your glasses and have the filter you won't be able to see anything through it anyway.

Q: 4. Will I need this to take picture of the eclipse with my Sony A99?

A: Absolutely! All cameras risk (will sustain) light sensor damage when imaging the Sun without a proper filter with the exception of the 2 minutes or so of totality of a total eclipse. This only takes place in the ribbon of totality which during the upcoming Aug. 21st event will be only 70 miles or so wide and at very specific times per location.

Q: 5. what is the ND equivalent of this filter?

A: The DayStar Filters 70mm White-Light Universal Lens Solar Filter (Single, 65-89mm OD) is a solar filter and not an ND. So there is no density rating for it.

Q: 6. Can I use this to take practice photos of the sun for the upcoming solar eclipse?

A: Yes, you can use the DayStar Filters 70mm White-Light Universal Lens Solar Filter can be used to take practice photos of the sun, to get ready for photographing the upcoming solar eclipse. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/photography/tips-and-solutions/how-to-photograph-a-solar-eclipse

Q: 7. What would be the best size for a Nikon 18-200 lens? The current screw-on filter is 72mm.

A: Measure diameter at end of lens with out a lenscap. See specs for this filter and see if it slides over your lens.

Q: 8. Will this work with an unsecured starlink wi-fi?

A: Yes, the IOGEAR Ethernet-2-WiFi Universal Wireless Adapter can work with your StarLink Wi-Fi signal, given that both ends are configured properly.

Q: 9. What is the difference between this product and a Neutral Density 5.4 Solar Eclipse Filter besides the price?

A: The difference is safety and your vision! The solar filter is ISO 12312-2 Compliant. The neutral density filter is NOT. Read the ISO Warning on the product. ISO 12312-2 Compliant Warning: Viewing the Sun without proper protection can cause permanent eye damage, blindness, and equipment damage. Always use an approved ISO 12312-2 certified solar filter when observing the Sun through optics or cameras. Never use photographic neutral density filters for direct solar viewing, viewing the sun through an optic, or when using cameras with an optical viewfinder. Ensure the solar filter is ISO 12312-2 Compliant. And buy from a reputable source like B&H. Many of the answers to this question are inaccurate and dangerous. I have flagged those answers to B&H so hopefully those answers have already been removed. When you are looking at the sun either directly or through optics, get your answers from experts in the field.

Q: 10. would this filter fit on a Sony SEL1670Z 16-70mm f/4?

A: I agree with Nathan, the 65-89mm filter would be too big unless you wrapped something around the lens first. The Day Star 50mm sounds perfect for your lens. The B&H site is now showing the larger filter as discontinued at this time anyway.
