Capture high-resolution photos and video of game on your hunting grounds, trespassers on your property, or wildlife after dark in your backyard with the Core S-4K No Glow Trail Camera with True Target from Bushnell. Featuring a fast 0.2-second trigger speed and 110' infrared flash, the Core S-4K produces motion-activated 36MP photos and 4K fps video. True Target technology sorts your images by animal type to save time when reviewing—as Bushnell puts it, "No more scrolling through hundreds of pictures of raccoons just to find the one picture of your target buck."

The Field Scan mode will grab a shot at user-selectable intervals for time-lapse surveillance. You can choose from four trigger sensitivity settings, which can cut down on unnecessary shots. The date, time, temperature, and moon phase are stamped on the photos, along with a user-set camera name. Video clips can be up to 60 seconds in length. The camera records to a user-supplied SD card up to 512GB, but you can also review images and videos in the field on the 1.5" viewing screen.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this camera take still and video at the same time?

A: The Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow Trail Camera (Camo) BH #BU119987C • MFR #119987C cannot take still and video simultaneously.

Q: 2. How long will the batteries last?

A: How long the batteries will last varies depending on the type of batteries you are using and the camera settings. Bushnell recommends using a full set of eight Energizer® Lithium AA batteries in these Trophy Cam HD Aggressor models to obtain maximum battery life. Please take a look at the following link: https://bhpho.to/34zNcJ6

Q: 3. The night pictures are poor. The image data says it used a 1 second exposure. The ISO setting was 50, which is fine for a sunny day at the beach, but not at night. am I missing a setting to raise the ISO?

A: Page 32 &33 of the manual: 1. Night photos or videos appear too dark a. Check the battery indicator icon to see if battery power is full. The flash will stop operating near the end of the battery life. b. You will get the best results when the subject is within the ideal flash range, no farther than 100 ft/30m. Subjects may appear too dark at greater distances. c. Please note that when the Capture Number parameter is set higher than "1 Photo", or with very short Interval settings, some images may appear darker than others due to the quick response and rapid retriggering of the camera, allowing less time for the flash to fully recharge before firing again. d. Make sure "LED Control" in the setup menu is set to "High" to ensure maximum output. You can also try setting "NV Shutter" in the menu to "Low" (slower shutter speed=brighter images, with tradeoff of increased blur if subject moves rapidly). e. The ARD (anti-reflective device) shield can be removed to maximize flash output. See page 28 for more details. I saw no reference in the manual in selecting ISO

Q: 4. What are the file formats for video, time lapse and stills? I'm looking for something Mac compatible.

A: Video is AVI, time laspe and stills is jpeg.

Q: 5. What is the minimum focus distance for this trail cam?

A: Sorry but Bushnell dose not list that information on there website or in the manual. With my experiencer with trail cameras I will estimate to be 8-10 feet

Q: 6. Is the camera trigger sensitive enough to activate and capture images of birds?

A: Yes the motion sensor trigger on the Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow Trail Camera is sensitive enough to capture birds.

Q: 7. How many photos will it take on one set of batteries?

A: The Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow Trail Camera (Camo) has an average battery life of approximately 12 months, at 30 images per day average (15 day, 15 night w/LEDs)

Q: 8. What is the expected battery life using regular alkaline batteries?

A: Probably around 2-3 hours of recording time. It really depends.

Q: 9. What format does it record videos in? H.264?

A: TheBushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow Trail Camera offers 1280x720 pixels, Full HD 1920x1080 pixels or up to a 4K resolution 3840x2160 pixels.video options.-The highest resolution 4k- 3840 x 2160, is known as Ultra HD or UHD resolution, not H 264.

Q: 10. Can you use rechargeable NiMh AA batteries instead of AA alkaline with this trail camera?

A: Bushnell says:-We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they have less capacity and lower voltage. Rechargeable batteries will not operate your trail camera reliably or at its full potential"
