This ink enables a Canon ImagePrograf Pro-1000 to create outstanding prints. The ink is relatively expensive, but the results are great. Cartridge capacities are pretty good, but one or two cartridges always run out before the others. There's a fair amount of wasted ink during warm up, particularly if it's been a while since you've fired up the printer as the unit has to assure that all inks are up to temp and flowing smoothly to the print head. 5

It’s hard to review an ink cartridge. It’s full of ink. What’s easy though, is having a customer call on Wednesday for an order of forty five 17x25 prints needed Friday, then my placing an order with B&H and having the product delivered ON TIME. Life saver! 5

I ordered this Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank because I have a Canon Pro 1000. My Canon Pro 1000 has a dedicated matte black ink cartridge, and it ran out of ink, so I looked it up and the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank was just what I needed. I ordered the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank from B&H — and they had it in stock! So I put it in my cart and was able to order it the same day that I put it in my cart! Anyhoo, the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank arrived at my door a few days later. I installed the cartridge and and I'm totally satisfied. You're probably thinking, He didn't tell us if it was good or bad. Well, thank you for your patience because that is what I am doing right now... the ink in the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank was perfect! Exactly as described! The best part of the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black ink was that is was not at all shiny. Do NOT get tricked into buying cheaper, less expensive copies that require you to have more money to buy them! This matte black ink was not shiny at all. I think the technical word is glossy but this ink was the opposite of that. So I say, YES! Check out my close up photo of a print I made to see the quality of the Canon PFI-1000 MBK LUCIA PRO Matte Black Ink Tank. Not shiny at all! 5

This printer is the best I had two previous ones manufactured by a leading competitor. Those two had the print heads clog and lock up. This system provides cleaning automatically that eliminates the problem. Unfortunately it uses ink to accomplish this I’m still very happy with the printer and it’s quality output 5
