More than a smartphone case, the Everyday Case for Pixel 8 from Peak Design is a part of a larger Peak Design Mobile ecosystem. This is due to the rounded square SlimLink connector on the back of the case. This magnetic locking connector is made from high-temperature neodymium magnets and high-strength ceramic, and is compatible with many SlimLink mounts and accessories. As a case, it offers robust all-around shock and drop protection, yet still remains slim and lightweight. It's also stylish, with its charcoal-colored weatherproof nylon canvas fabric shell that is 100% recycled and Bluesign-approved.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I want to carry a R5 with RF 24-70 2.8 attached, RF 70-200 2.8, godox V1 flash and some batteries. Is it capable?

A: Yes, the Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 (30L, Black) is more than large enough to fit R5 with RF 24-70 2.8 attached, RF 70-200 2.8, Godox V1 flash and some batteries

Q: 2. Will this fit the 16" 2021 MacBook Pro?

A: Yes, the Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 (30L, Charcoal) will be able to hold an Apple 16" MacBook Pro in the designated laptop area.

Q: 3. I have a 13 in M1 MBP, and have heard that the new M1 laptops have issues with turning on when in the laptop sleeve due to the magnets in the bag (used to keep the shoulder straps attached). Is this really an issue, or will the M1 MacBooks have no problem with the magnets in the back of the bag?

A: I have not personally heard of these issues, and we pack many with all shapes and sizes of bags. I would fully power off the machine before placing it into the bag however to reduce heat.

Q: 4. does it fit z9 with 150-600 lens?

A: The Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 (30L, Black) is large enough to fit the Z9 with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens (Nikon Z) attached. Note you will need to take most of the partitions out of the backpack.

Q: 5. Does the 30L vs hold 2 DSLR cameras?

A: Absolutely! It can hold 2 Mirrorless/DSLR camera bodies + 3-4 extra lenses & accessories (EXAMPLE CAMERA CARRY)

Q: 6. I have an Alienware M15 that measures an irregular 14.2"x10.9"x0.8" (360.5x276x19.5mm), which is almost 2" deeper than a 16" MacBook or any other 15.4" laptop, so I am struggling to find a backpack wide enough to accommodate it. Will that fit inside the laptop sleeve of this bag?

A: We tested the Everyday Backpack v2 30L with our testing devices measuring 9-3/4" deep and found there was a little bit more room for something slightly larger, but we don't believe it will take your Alienware M15 at 10.9" deep.

Q: 7. Does this backpack stand upright on the floor?

A: Yes, the Peak Design Everyday v2 Backpacks (20L and 30L) do stand upright on their own. From testing here at the store, we were able to do it most of the time, but if overpacked and not properly weight-distributed it does take a few attempts.

Q: 8. How are the side entries for using camera gear? I’m coming from the more traditional camera backpack, curious if anyone can share their experience.

A: The side entries are very convenient and practical to use, just slide the bag around to the side or front and access the gear, very easy.

Q: 9. Is there a good way to lock or further secure the magnetic latch so that it can't be easily opened?

A: There are lash points on both sides of the top flap of the Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 (30L) that one could lock down with locks.

Q: 10. Does this work very well as a sling bag?

A: The Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 does not work as a "sling bag", because their is no access to one's equipment from the sides of the bag. Access is from the top of the bag, or the back of the bag.
