That being said, from images taken with the two lenses, the Z-mount lens appears much sharper compared to the F-mount lens used on the same camera with the FTZ lens mount adapter. The Z-mount lens used wide-open at f/1.8 appears sharper than the F-mount lens used two stops down at f/2.8.
