Stop the writing on your Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G lens from appearing in your underwater images with Ikelite's Anti-Reflection Ring. It blocks the aperture, focal length, and other written information on the front element of the lens from being reflected in the interior of the dome port attached to your camera housing. Without the ring, these unwanted reflections could show up in your photos and videos. A self-adhesive vinyl surface enables easy attachment to your lens.

    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this come with a soft or hard bag to carry the lens?

A: A very nice structured soft bag which offers good protection. It is easy to carry. Quick zipper access

Q: 2. how is this lens for video? Does it balance well on a gimbal?

A: Very good quality for Video and Photo , For gimbal it is a little front heavy if you have a good gimbal it should be no problem

Q: 3. How is the focus racking in MF? Is this lens recommended for primarily video use?

A: I haven't noticed any problems in either manual focus or autofocus mode with this lens. I am a outdoor fine art photographer, and though I've only had this lens for one month, I've shot a sufficient number of landscapes in manual mode to tell you that this is a reliable lens with incredible image quality and across the board sharpness. It's like having a number of wide angle primes without having to change lenses. On the A7riii, you really get full measure of what this lens has to offer.

Q: 4. does this extend when zooming in?

A: it extends about an inch while zooming out (16MM). When zoomed in (35MM) it is in it's shortest length.

Q: 5. What is the best polarise fikter for this lens? Recommendations please on screw in users and insert in filters like LEE/NiSi/Breakthrough. Thanks!

A: In my opinion, the best CPL filters are HOYA HD. I've had other (incl. B+W), but HOYA has much better coating - which helps cleaning the glass and is not getting dirty very easily.

Q: 6. is this lens good for real estate ?

A: This is a fantastic lens to use for real estate!

Q: 7. What is the weight of this lens?

A: Hi Paul, This lens weighs 680 g (24 oz). -Jerome

Q: 9. Is it worthy to buy in 2021 for landscape and street photography? I'm considering between this and 35mm GM. Thanks !

A: This is an amazing lens for landscape and street photography. I personally own this lens and it's one of my sharpest lenses. It's also phenomenal for video.

Q: 10. How good is the Sony 16-35 GM at 24mm and 35mm?

A: The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens is a remarkable lens. When set at 24mm this GM lens appears as a prime 24mm virtually no distortion at the edges and no visible chromatic aberration, this is true at 35mm, (and at 16mm). If the image is properly focused, this lens is certainly one of the sharpest in the world.

Very sharp! My first copy arrived with dead F, yes was not operating. Called B&H and returned it at the same day it arrived. Got my other copy shortly. Mostly using for real estate and commercial use. It's a solid work horse.

I've been shooting with this lens for a year now, and I absolutely love-love-love it! The build quality is excellent, and the images it produces are gorgeous. My experience with this lens over the previous year has been one of pure creative joy. Of course it's true that it's the photographer, not the camera, that makes a photograph. But having the right equipment sure helps. For me, for the images I create, this lens is the right equipment.

If you want a zoom lens that is sharp with snappy autofocus that has quality written all over it. Look no further... You just can't go wrong with this lens. I currently carry this lens with me for street and wedding photography/ videography and I am honestly in love with the image quality that comes out of this beast. There are two things that actually worried me before purchasing: 1. No OSS / 2. Weight. All I have to say is, there was no need for me to worry. This lens works perfectly smooth on my DJI Ronin S.

Great lens. Very sharp and contrasty. Not hugely different than other brands except that Sony makes the sharpest lenses. No Optical image stabilization though and for such an expensive lens it would have been nice. I prefer internal zoom as opposed to ones like this where it extends when you zoom in and out. I believe Canon makes an internal zoom 15-35 but then again their 70-200 is external. Regardless, it is hard to argue with the IQ and final results. They are amazing

I paired the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 lens with my Sony A7R IV camera and am very impressed with the incredibly crisp and detailed pictures I am now able to obtain. Most of my photography is landscape stills. From close ups of flowers, to wide angle sunset shots, this is the lens I will be using the most!
With the high resolution camera and the crisp lens, I am amazed at how much I can crop down a photograph and still get awesome image resolution.

I had the 16-35 f/4.0 and it was a great lens. I needed something for more low light situations so got the f/2.8. What I found was that it was better than the f/4.0 even wide open (at 2.8 vs. 4.0).

Have gotten to use this on an FS5 Mii and a A7Riii. It has been awesome for getting super wide angle shots of interior rooms as well as getting beautiful landscapes. It is also a lot smaller than my 24-70 G-Master so I would rather take this with me on trips since it's a bit more compact. It's also really nice to use with the Alpha series since they are full frame and if you need to get a tighter shot you simply have to crop down.

Amazing lens for photography and videography . I love being able to go wide at 16mm then if I want I can go to 35mm for more of a cinematic look . This lens is a work horse and is solid and has amazing technology and has an amazing clean sharp look.
