The Tiffen 5 x 5" CC40M Magenta Filter is a color compensating (or color correction) filter for use when making color balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.

Magenta is the opposite of green and can be used to reduce green tones or casts within a scene or print. This magenta CC40 is more dense than a CC30 filter and less dense than a CC50 filter, and requires a 0.6 stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 5 x 5" / 127 x 127mm.

A: We only carry Epson ink cartridges that are compatible with the US Epson models. If you purchased your Epson printer outside of the US, then none of our cartridges will be compatible.

I have an Artesian 1430 printer I had streaks running across a print so I cleaned the heads my inks got wiped out so I lost a set of inks is there a better way to utilize inks or is there a better ink delivery sister? I see that the price of inks have doubled, what can I do short of no longer using that printer?

A: I have never had that problem of my inks being wiped out. Often I have to clean the heads sometimes 6 times of more. If cartridges are near empty you may have to replace those. But after cleaning my prints are fine.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer only specifies Epson 79 Yellow Ink Cartridge Pages in Color: 810.

Q: 7. How many 24 x 36 sheets ( black and white) can ths 80 mL cartridge serve?

A: I actually never counted the sheet but at the time I installed the cartridge I bought a new 4 pack of 24 inch x 150 foot rolls and I am almost finished with the 3rd roll. That is about 50 sheets per roll. I print out fire alarm drawings and at times there is not much on there and never is the drawing completely covered. I also use on each drawing a very tiny bit of color just to keep those cartridges from drying up. Just basically a couple of numbers from a spreadsheet that I paste on. Hope this helps.Peter

A: The wrong ink would not fit your printer. The nozzles are "keyed" to prevent putting the wrong ink in the wrong printer as well as to prevent putting the wrong color into the wrong tank.
