A: No the IK Multimedia iKlip 3 will only fit tablets up to 12.9" without a case.

Q: 8. I want to use this to mount a light. Same L x W dimensions but a little thicker than a tablet. What is the max thickness of tablet/light/etc that this is able to accommodate?

A: The IK Multimedia iKlip Xpand Universal Mic Stand Mount for Tablets BH #IKXMAMSM712 does not have a specification for thickness from the manufacturer. Since it is designed for tablets, the thickness will not be very much. If your device exceeds .23'', it will most likely not fit properly.

Q: 9. Will this mic work with Facebook, specifically using an Iphone to do a Facebook Live?

A: Yes. Works great! I do recommend these to anyone doing live stuff etc. For the price you can't beat it and by that I just mean that the next best thing would be wireless but soundwise these are excellent... I did experience a little feedback when a host got a little too loud once though but overall no complaints

I attach this to my crash boom stand and I hit pretty hard. I was worried that the constant shock would make it move around but it doesn’t move at all. Bonus is that it was super easy to assemble. Highly recommend this for drummers. 5

I needed an iPad mount that would accommodate a keyboard stand, since I don’t drag a mic stand on gigs. The jaws on this clamp can be used with square stock as well as round. Perfect. 5

I've owned one of these for years and it has been part of my stage setup on 1000+ gigs. It's rugged, easy to assemble and use and always works well. I bought a second one for another iPad on stage. I highly recommend it. 5

Even though the mount is mostly plastic, it still feels sturdy, robust and, most importantly, professional. Works just as advertised, easily mounting a 12.9 iPad Pro to a mic or boom stand. (It also has just enough tension to hold an iPhone 6s Plus if need be!) Once the mount is tightened securely to the stand, adjustments to the viewing angle are easy and everything feels solid and stable. I would trust the Xpand to hold my iPad Pro in either landscape or portrait mode -- the springs in the clamp have that much tension! Great buy, and easily worth the price. 5

I used to have the iklip for iPad 2 and it only fit the iPad without case, which makes me nervous. Now I have the iPad air and I can use either tablet on the iklip Xpand with the cases on. I am really happy with this mount! 5

Short version: holds iPad Pro firmly in position and at the exact angle you want it to stay. just Perfect.long version: Unsure of Xpand's compatibility with the iPad Pro, I first went on twitter to ask iKlip's customer rep, but they weren't sure about it and said they had no plan to produce a dedicated iPad Pro mount at the moment. So I got on @and bought another small brand's product from @. the first 30 minutes I tried it out, it was a huge disappointment. It sure did hold my iPad Pro, but the problem is the elbow isn't tight enough to hold iPad pro's weight, so when you try to touch the screen or plug/unplug the cable, it then tilts upward/downward. And the part where it holds onto the mic stand pole just isn't well designed. It leaves A LOT of space for it to move around if you accidentally bump it at a wrong angle..Then I got really tired of it, decided to further check the dimensions of the iKlip Xpand again. As it turns out, the maximum clamp width of Xpand is just slightly wider than iPad Pro's, so it actually does work with it. Moreover, it's tight enough to hold the whole thing in place so it doesn't tilt or slide when you screw everything down tight. Perfectly satisfied with this product. 5
