A large pump button on the side creates a vacuum for a solid grip. A: Thank you for asking! The suction cups can support a vertical mount on a window. Depending on what happens next, would affect the force. For example, driving on a regular asphalt road is much different than driving off road on dirt, with lots of bumps and drops (those would create much more force). The mount will hold up to 8lbs, including the force. The Fat Gecko Triple Mount will hold up to 12lbs (for reference). Have a great shoot!

A: The Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Mini Suction Mount For GoPro Camera extension arm will attach to the curved arm of the suction cup. You will need to remove the ball head, via the tightening lever to attach the extension and the ball head attaches to the extension. The Gopro tripod adapter attaches to the 1/4"-20 mount of the suction cup.
