The way this light works is that when you dial in all tungsten for example, only the tungsten lights are on and the daylight ones are off, so your light output is less. Same with dialing in all daylight. If you put the dial in the middle, then ALL the lights are on and it's much brighter, but you get mixed lighting... I chose this light because I rarely shoot in and ALL tungsten or ALL daylight environment...always mixed lighting in some way. So, instead of screwing around with gels (full, half, quarter, whatever) just turn the dial!!!

Nice light.� The controls on the back aren't the typical color temperature and dimmer.� Rather each control dims or brightens its particular color.� One for Tungsten and one for Daylight.� Love the build quality and overall finish.� Looks great for sure.� The V-Mount is the real winner here too!

I had a great experience with the lights for my videography. One of the weddings was in a low light venue and the other was in a barn. In both Occasions the lights have shown a great performance and the display to show and regulate the degree of lighting used was a very useful feature! The video turned out to be amazing with the color the light produced. Not too white nor too yellow, just about right! I must say these are excellent lights and my plans are to upgrade them to the 1000 once I have my Studio running to use them for photography as well. My wife was the photographer at the weddings and she saved her flash quite often, while getting some very nice exposed pictures. I know there are a lot of different brands out there, but being it my first experience with these lights , I am most probably going to stay with this brand and promote it where I can. Not only the quality, performance and built are very well done, also the stylish color and design is very appealing and looks professional! I have also seen that there are several possibilities to add accessories and the only point I would raise is that barn doors and at least one filter to protect the lights would have been good to go with the original pack, but that's just aside! They definitely have the right power and with 2 of them correctly positioned you can kill off any shadows Would definitely buy again and was the right choice!

This fixture feels substantial in your hands. The build quality is on par with my other Dracast lights. Otherwise all around thumbs up.

This bi-color LED light is bright and powerfull to my lighting needs. I use this mostly as my main light for my video interview. The color adjustment is very helpfull when i use this with my other lights that has different color temperature. It comes with a carrying bag to carry around on shoot location.

Just received this piece of equipment today from B&H, right out of the box you can tell it is well-built, operating the light was smooth and flawless, hats off to Dracast, can't wait for the next shoot to put this baby to work.

This thing is really well built. Well worth the money. Works better than expected. Totally happy with it. Should have bought another. Probably still will.

This is a good lighting instrument for a back light or other compact environment. The color range let me warm up the backlight when combined with other daylight-balanced keys. Very solid yoke construction means the light firmly locks into position when you tighten it down. That's important when you attach a heavy battery for DC power. I recommend the barndoors to give you better control of focus and spill. Great value and a good addition to my lighting arsenal!

I had my doubts after only using Arri lights, but wow. This thing is fantastic. You might need some black wrap to make a spot for low-key set ups, because the barn doors aren't enough to do the trick. I think that a soft box might be overkill since this light seems softer over all. Great for interviews, etc. Love that it uses batteries, albeit they are expensive.

I first used Dracast lights with a friend on another shoot and fell in love. I am equally happy with this one and its durability, size, weight, brightness, and more! Highly recommended!
