UltraLITE Pro16 all-in-one wireless headsets can link up to 16 users in full duplex without a base station or hub. Designed with a lightning-fast microprocessor that provides two channels of simultaneous hands-free communication, the Pro16 allows separate groups to speak privately. Connect your entire crew in a full-duplex conference with the simple touch of a button. The Pro16 talking pattern is easily modified in the field or expanded to accommodate your changing needs.

The Pro16 has been engineered with Active Frequency Hopping technology. This specialty wireless technique allows the headsets to monitor the surrounding environment and automatically switch channels whenever necessary to easily avoid interference. The operating range has been increased three-fold to over a 1/2 mile line of sight.

The UltraLITE headsets have the transceiver built right inside the earcup, eliminating headset wires and belt-worn radios. They provide two-way voice communication and the microphone arm can swivel 270°, allowing you to wear the mic on the left or right side. Raising the mic boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone.

A fortified mic assembly, featuring internal metal construction and stainless attachment hardware is now standard. The new deluxe earpad is extra wide, soft, and weather resistant. New, large-capacity lithium-ion polymer batteries provide an impressive run time of up to 10 hours.

Q: 2. Can these be used with 3 or 4 headsets as well?

A: Im told they can be used with more then two but I only purchased two. The two are excellent and work great on a large yacht solving any yelling to be heard. You can speak calmly and softly and be heard perfectly. Connecting a lanyard to each is recommended.

Q: 3. Can I connect two base stations using optical fiber? Example: One base station inside the studio and the other one inside the OB van.

A: This is not possible.

Q: 4. Can I integrate this system with a wired clearcom system?

A: Yes, this will work with Clearcom with the addition of the 2/4 wire converter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1592147-REG/hollyland_hl_2_4_wire_converter_2_4_wire_converter_for.html

Q: 5. Does this contain only one replacement pad or is it a pair?

A: The Eartec Leatherette Earpads for UltraLITE Headsets (2-Pack) [BH #EAULEPD] is a 2-pack package.

Q: 6. Is the system applicable for outdoor use by for example crane operators and similar job functions?

A: The Eartec UL3D UltraLITE 3-Person Headset System is designed for broadcast and stage production applications. We do offer two way radios from Kenwood and Motorola which are more suitable products for crane operators. The challenge will be isolation headsets. Those will need to be custom made.

Q: 7. what is the difference between this model and the L model?

Q: 8. We just bought the 4-Person headset package. I have read that in order to add more headsets, we need to get The Hub st $450. If I'm spending that much, can I just get another 4-pack set and run them as separate sets? One set for our audio team and one for our video team?

A: That is certainly a solution. But the members of the two separate groups cannot communicate with each other.

Q: 9. Does B&H sell one remote headset by itself for expansion?

A: yes

Q: 10. Good Option for loud and large crowds, like in a school cafeteria?

A: Yes, the VocoPro UHF-3205-10 UHF Dual-Channel Rechargeable Wireless Microphone System could be used in a school cafeteria setting. This system has a specified maximum operational distance of 197 feet or 60 meters, but reception can be affected by obstructions in between the transmitter and receiver, including bodies. When paired with a robust speaker PA system, this could work well for loud and large crowds as described. The wireless microphone system does not amplify itself.
