Exponent 500 provides five programmable presets and five assignable quick pots, which can be controlled via the Darkglass Suite app for iOS and Android devices. With Darkglass Suite you can also modify your FX processing chains and more. Bluetooth streaming lets you send wireless audio directly to your headphone output for practice. Exponent 500 sports a series FX loop, an XLR direct output for PAs and interfaces, a 1/4" speakON combo jack for speakers, a MIDI input for MIDI devices, and a USB-C port for 4-channel audio interface duties.

There are five quick pots on Exponent 500's front panel (A, B, C, D and E). By default, these pots are mapped to the amp EQ's four frequency bands and a preset-specific control. In the Darkglass Suite, you can freely bind the quick pots to your selection of any five controls from the effects in your signal chain.

The Exponent 500 can be used as a USB audio interface. The amp head supports 4-channel operation at either 48 or 44.1 kHz.

While the USB connection can also receive MIDI information, the Exponent 500 also sports a dedicated 5-pin DIN MIDI connector. Via both options, you can receive PC and CC messages with selectable per-value or full-range CC controls.

Exponent 500 comes preloaded with five versatile factory presets. The Darkglass Suite unlocks the full potential of Exponent 500 by providing an interface to interact and modify the signal chain running on each preset. Use the iOS or Android versions of the Darkglass Suite to create, edit, share, and apply presets.
