A filter on a prime lens was totally stuck and nothing worked - tried everything I could find via google, Canon and more, all to no avail. Found this and filter off. Great product and for $5 or so, can't beat it. I am off overseas soon and this comes with me should any other filter stuck problems arise. Don't bother with all the 'solves' you see, just use this! 5

you shouldn't need it but when you use polarizers sometimes one gets stuck! will fit into any bag, can save the day 5

I bought a used lens and it had an old dirty scratched uv filter stuck on it. I could not get it off as hard as I could try it just would not come off. So I ordered this little beauty and was completely amazed how easy it removed that filter. 5

For me, this is a must-have product if you use filters, especially if you ever stack filters. I don't know how else to separate stuck filters without damaging them. This is an inexpensive plastic device that provides just enough grip. It weighs practically nothing and it is easy to keep in your bag in case you need it. They don't last forever, but they come in a 2-pack and at this price it doesn't matter if if breaks after a couple of years. 5
