A: This is only the back box, the body. You will also need a dome drive, the camera and the lower dome, the bubble, each separate.

I'm. Wry pleased with the Sabrent SSD enclosure! I have a Raspberry Pi 4B that I've upgraded to use mSATA SSDs instead of it's default SD card, and I needed an enclosure that would allow me to link it with my M1 MacBook Pro, and this tiny device filled the bill perfectly. It's not much bigger than the mSATA card itself, and the high quality USB-C cable it comes with makes writing and reading data a breeze. I would definitely recommend this as a quality product that anyone using mSATA media would be totally satisfied with. 5

It was a painless procedure adding this expansion unit to a DS1821+. Just plug it in, add some drives, create a storage pool and volume and it mounted right away in my Mac finder. I'm using it strictly as a file server. Once it's loaded it won't change much so I have no comments on speed etc. It won't be a back and forth read/write device. 5

Setup took less than 10 minutes. Nas recognized it without issue and had a new volume setup very quickly. Transfer speeds are great! 5

using Synology to store pics and videos ...running out of space on my 920+ 4bays 6T each.... Did not want the downtime to redo the whole array. using the hybrid raid. So got the expansion and 18T drive. Connected the cable , and recognized, popped the drive in ..and that's all it took. Easy....fast ....and back to work... 5

This unit lets you add another dice drives to your Synology unit (check model numbers first). Slip a drive in, connect to main unit with a cable, and provide power. Instantly shows up in the console. In short, everything was seamless- no drama. 5

Like this device. That allowed to more than double storage size. Do not see any speed degradation in real usage. I would say opposite to that speed increased in writing operations. Works stable, silent and cool 5
