Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the clamp be rotated 90 degrees?

A: The Leofoto BV-1 Fluid Video Head can rotate 360 degrees, but the Arca-type quick release clamp itself does not rotate.

Q: 2. Would this fit on the Manfrotto Aluminium Hi Hat Video Tripod 75m Bowl(MVT535HH)?

A: Its a standard 75mm bowl and should fit most 75mm bowl just fine. IF you add the 75mm bowl to it - this head is available with a flat base OR with an add-on 75mm bowl. Be sure to get the right version.

Q: 3. Is this arca compatible for "L" brackets?

A: Unfortunately the clamp is not arca compatible.

Q: 4. Can this fit 501PL plates?

A: Yes, the S2 can accept Manfrotto 501PL plates.

Q: 5. Will this work with the S6 sticks?

A: Yes. I have used it on my Manfrotto 290 Xtra Aluminum Tripod, Benro Aero 4 travel, and my Rhino Carbon EVO slider. Basically anything that has a 3/8 screw attachment will take the head. Love mine! thinking about getting another.

Q: 6. What is the thread size at the bottom?

A: The thread at the bottom of the SmallRig Lightweight Fluid Video Head is 3/8"-16.

Q: 7. Will the Smallrig 3457 fit my Manfrotto 190CPRO4 Tripod?

A: The Smallrig Lightweight Fluid Video Head features a standard 3/8" mounting hole, which would be compatible with the Manfrotto 190CPRO4 Tripod system.

Q: 8. I have used and returned one copy of this head. It made crackling and popping sounds when tilting up and down. I also find that unless the pan lock is unscrewed a few turns it grinds when panning left to right. Is this the case with all units or did I get a faulty unit?

A: I would say neither instance should occur and that you should return or exchange the head.

Q: 9. Hi, It's the quick release plate compatibile with Manfrotto plate?

A: No it is not.

Q: 10. Is this head compatible with Benro M-027 tripod?

A: If you mean the Benro C-027, yes, no problem. Frankly, any tripod with a 1/4 or 3/8 screw on top with take this.

Was looking for an affordable pan/tilt video head for slider/DSLR shots and this one meets all of my needs. So glad I trusted the existing reviews at the time! The movement is fluid, easy to control, and an on-head bubble level helps immensely with shot stabilization. The special price at the time caught my eye, but the reviews sealed the deal. So happy with my purchase.

I use this head for some simple video work where I do more panning than anything else, and it is smooth. I had tried to use a standard tripod head with some frustration because of some jerkiness I couldn't seem to avoid. With the Benro S4 head, I have no trouble panning with no issues.

I bought 2 of these heads at the same time because I purchased a monopod of the same brand which I actually love, and now I think these heads are fantastic, really smooth pans and tilt operations, very light compared to another brand. I really did not expect this type of quality in such an inexpensive model. I'm very pleased!

I use this on a Manfotto 679B mono which I then bungee to the guard rail in my Church's choir loft. This make a rock solid pier for my G40, and the head is super smooth action when sweeping over the congregation. For ground level shoots, I plan on getting a shank with a larger stud that I can slide into my Cullmann legs.
