A: This clamp can work on aluminum stands, but using it on steel stands reduces the risking of denting the metal due to pressure on the clamp.

A: If you are only using the built-in batteries inside the Nanlite PavoTube II 15C RGB LED Tube Light (2'), you may pack them in either your carry-on luggage or your checked luggage as the built-in battery has a milliamperage rating of only 2200mAh. However, if you are using carrying spare batteries that power the light fixture via the Nanlite D-Tap to 5.5mm Male DC Barrel Power Cable, the spare batteries must be packed in your carry-on luggage.

This clamp lets me mount a Flashpoint XPLOR 600 Pro body to a Flashpoint boom stand, and project the extension head out. I'm fully confident in the clamp's grip, and mounting the heavy strobe body low adds reassuring stability to stand. I don't even need a sandbag! 5

This clamp is an awesome device to have in the grip bag! I bought one to see how good it was and it's even stronger than I thought. We bought this and the accompanying 2.5 Baby pin to mount a second light fixture to a C-stand and it works like a charm. The positive locking collar is a nice feature and is a reassuring that once you clamp down, it's not coming off. This would also be nice with the kupo MaxArm for flags, frames as a way to save space and hauling more stands on location. I'll definitely be grabbing more of these! 5

Exactly what I was lookin for. It gives my Manfrotto boom stand the firmness, security and strength to hold a light and difusser with confidence. 2 clamps, one telescopic arm and you have the best of both worlds. 5

The clamping power it has on a vertical shaft is very impressive. I don't have very heavy lights, actually it's a Digibee 800, with the 7 reflector and a Kupo 5/8 Baby stud may weigh 4 lbs but I have no doubt it could possibly hold much more. 5
