  • ST2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching: The interface features two network ports for ST2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching compliance.
  • Sample Rates: From 44.1 to 352.8 kHz (DXD) and 384 kHz (PCM) at a 32-bit resolution, plus high-resolution DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 formats.
  • NMOS: MERGING+ANUBIS SPS is capable of registering itself onto an NMOS server and complying with connection requests from a compliant NMOS Network Manager such as VideoIPath from Nevion (NMOS IS-04 and NMOS IS-05).
  • SMPTE ST2110: Merging Technologies has implemented ST2110 and AES67. MERGING+ANUBIS SPS meets the demanding requirements of JT-NM and is self-certified.
  • RAVENNA / AES67 Built-In: Using Ravenna/AES67, MERGING+ANUBIS SPS is able to flexibly connect to every single input and output across standard networks, using off-the-shelf network equipment.
  • DC- or POE-Powered, or Both: Protect your production with audio-network seamless switching and power switching. Connect MERGING+ANUBIS SPS to DC and POE power supplies. Should one fail, MERGING+ANUBIS SPS will switch to the other seamlessly.
  • Switch Mode: MERGING+ANUBIS SPS can be used in switch mode instead of redundant ST2022-7 mode, removing the necessity to have a network switch in scenarios where a DAW simply needs to be connected to the interface for mobile recording.
  • Accessible and Controllable Remotely: Anubis configuration, presets, and features are completely accessible remotely for very fast troubleshooting and deployment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How loud is this drive? It seems everyone complains the Sandisk drives are very loud so I am looking for something quiet

A: The Glyph Technologies 8TB Atom Pro NVMe Thunderbolt 3 SSD uses an SSD with no moving parts. The drive doesn't generate any noise.

Q: 2. How would I connect a USB keyboard controller to the iRig Pro I/O when using it with an iPhone X and running Garageband iOS? Thanks

A: If you keyboard controller is MIDI compatible, you can connect it to the iRig Pro using the included MIDI cables. The product manual shows the included cables on page 3 and the connections for a keyboard controller on pages 6 and 7. Here is a link to the manual: https://static.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/375138.pdf

Q: 3. Can you confirm that you can run all 24 analog outputs from the DAC at 192Khz simultaneously, and at what bit depth (24 or 32) ?

A: Yes, the MOTU 24Ao USB/AVB 72 Channel Audio Interface can run 24 analog outputs simultaneously. The analog outputs offer 32-bit trim in the DAC and are also adjustable in 1 dB increments.

Q: 4. Does this product come with a midi cable adapter?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 5. I have about 6 terabytes of movies to transfer off my m1 MacBook, will the 8 terabyte SSD handle that kind of transfer well?

A: You can use the Glyph Technologies 8TB Atom Pro NVMe Thunderbolt 3 SSD BH #GLA8000PRO2 to move large amounts of data off a MacBook.

Q: 6. Can it handle the cold? Below freezing

A: Due to the nature of the Glyph Technologies 8TB Atom Pro NVMe Thunderbolt 3 SSD memory this should not be a problem, however I would be mindful of humidity and condensation.

Q: 7. Can I connect this drive to a non-Thunderbolt 3 USB C port and use this as a USB drive also, like I can with the Sabrent version, or is this strictly a Thunderbolt 3 Drive that will not work at all unless connected to a Thunderbolt 3 port?

A: The Glyph Technologies 8TB Atom Pro NVMe Thunderbolt 3 SSD would require a thunderbolt 3 connection.

Q: 8. Approximately how much power willl this provide to my Beyerdynamic Dt 1990 pro 250 ohm headphones in watts and milliwatts? Is the interface enough power alone with out an after market headphone amp?

A: I contacted technical support at Antelope directly and while they do not have a specification for the power of the headphone output on the Zen Q Synergy Core Desktop 14x10 Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface, they did tell me that they had previously tested this interface with different 250 ohm headphones and felt that the volume level was sufficient for general monitoring purposes. However, what each person considers sufficient volume is subjective and what works for one person may not work well for another person. If you will want to have high volume or very strong bass, then you will most likely want to use a separate headphone amp with the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones.

Q: 9. Is there any option to connect with AMD motherboards? There seem to be no compatible TB3 cards for AMD motherboards.

A: You could use this motherboard BH# ASX570CREATR and attach an AMD Processor to it. This will have two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Q: 10. I would like to know if this unit does its own mix minus. I intend to use it with a sound device 302 so no auxiliary sends are available.thanks

A: The JK Audio Auto Hybrid is a basic passive telephone interface. It features a line level input and output on XLR. It will need to be sent a mix-minus signal as there is no control on the unit itself.

Bought one back in December to use my old Apple Thunderbolt monitor with my Dell laptop. Once I went through the process of updating *ALL* the drivers and the motherboard BIOS, it worked perfectly.
And then, tragedy struck. My laptop decided to give up the ghost and I opted to get a lighter HP, so I returned my Dell docking station to work and waited for the wheels of corporate bureaucracy to churn until I got a new one for my HP. It took 7 months, but I got it this past weekend.
AND IT STILL WORKED!
I fired it up connected to the TB Monitor and it came right up, even before updating everything (which I did). Come Monday morning (today), I have a MASSIVE 27" monitor to work off of.

Thanks to StarTech TBT3TBTADAP now my Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Octo Core works fine connected to my DELL 7577 (TB3) Laptop. I would just like to know if I can cascade a second TB2 device to my UAD-2 Satellite Octo which has two TB2 ports (One already used for the StarTech TBT3TBTADAP). Thanks, Carlo

Bought this to connect a large Universal Audio rig to my new Windows DAW Workstation. Two 8 core UA Satelites, 2 Apollo 8p's, and and Apollo Twin mkii Quad, all Thunderbolt 2. Simply connected this to my workstation and the end of the Thunderbolt 2 chain to this and everything worked well.

This adapter allowed use of older T1 and T2 devices. Specifically, a Black Magic Thunderbolt Intensity Shuttle and a LaCie Thunderbolt hard drive. The Shuttle needed the Apple lightning cable. It wouldn't work with a mini-display port cable.

That's right, this adapter allows you to connect your Dell Alienware 17 computer (Thunderbolt 3 adapter) to an Apple 27 Thunderbolt display...and it WORKS!!! I searched all over for something that would work, and this works...no kidding. The cheapo brands out there will NOT work, trust me I checked them all out. B&H always has the cheapest price + fast, free shipping.
