This Illusion White Mist Filter from Tilta can be used to create a cinematic look by lowering contrast and highlights within the frame to balance the tonal range between highlights and shadows. Made of water white optical glass, the filter features a 1/2 strength grade, with the filter effect becoming approximately twice as strong as a grade number increases. Double-sided nano-coating adds scratch and smudge resistance and prevents reflection. The rectangular filter measures 4 x 5.65", and the kit includes a convenient storage bag and cleaning cloth.

White mist diffusion filters are commonly used to create a glow around light sources with a light diffusion while retaining shadow detail. A: Tiffen has a compatibility chart up on their website for their Multi Rota Tray Products. A: The MB-T12 has a 114mm clamp is installed and it includes 90mm and 85mm adapters.

A: Generally, with the Tilta MB-T12 114mm Matte Box and Carrying Case Kit, it is recommended not to go wider than a 24mm lens when working with a full-frame sensor and 16mm when working with a Super 35 or APS-C sensor.
