A: Yes, because it has an HD Tuner that allows it to pick up over-the-air broadcast TV signals. I just use a simple pair of rabbit ears and get great reception and I'm able to pick up many channels. This particular model of TV has other issues, however. It keeps losing the correct time of day no matter if I have the Time set to auto or manual. It's hooked up to Wi-Fi, so I don't understand why there's a problem with time of day. Also, once in a while the screen goes black. You can hear the audio, but you lose the picture. To get it back, you have to turn the power off and unplug it from the wall for 10 seconds. The audio coming from the set is pretty bad. No bass. All very tinny. If I could do it over, I'd buy another set from a different manufacturer. The sound problem alone is not a big reason to get rid of it, but when you put it together with losing the picture every few days and losing the time of day on a daily basis, I'm not happy with it.
