Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this unit work with the Canon 40D ?

A: Yes, using composite video instead of HDMI, this should work with a Canon 40D. You will, however, need an RCA coupler (B&H # TEARCAFRCAF) to connect the composite video cable that came with your 40D to the composite video cable that comes with this monitor (both cables are 1/8 male to RCA male).

Q: 2. Can you adjust each arm for each monitor to a different height independently on the pole (to accommodate 2 monitors of different sizes)?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 3. Can the two outside arms be turned around so the monitors are placed in a 360 degree fashion? For a triangular table set-up.

A: Yes: This full-motion desk mount features 15 degree monitor tilt and 180 degree swivel capability at multiple points for fine-tuning monitor positioning. Number of Displays Supported 3, Side-by-Side

Q: 4. How do I scale image up to fit screen? I have a Canon 6d, and I am getting a black border around my whole image in Live view, but not on playback. In other words, when I am recording video the image is smaller than the size of the Monitor, but when I playback it's full screen. I tried cycling through the different views by pressing INFO on the camera, and also paid with different aspect rations on the screen.

A: Honestly, I have the same problem. In fact, I've just been assuming I was doing something wrong. Now, with your question, I see I'm not alone. I wish I could offer you help. It makes me want to research it further, however. Sorry.

Q: 5. What is the length/height from the table to the middle of the VESA mount? Is that what the "max arm extension length" covers in the specs?

A: Please contact the manufacturer directly for this unpublished specification: Mount-It!: Tel: (855) 925-5668

Q: 6. It says it supports up to 22LB is that per arm or all together?

A: The aluminum mount will fit most flat-panel monitors no heavier than 22.0 lb and up to 27 in size 22.0 lbs per monitor

Q: 7. Will this work on the Panasonic GH4?

A: It works with HDMI input so as long as the camera has that function it will work fine

Q: 8. What is the maximum size of the clamp?

A: You have the option to use the clamp or grommet connection to connect it to your desk (0.4 to 3.54 in thickness).

Q: 9. What keeps the ball joints from slipping?

A: The ball joints has spikey "teeth" that helps the joints tighten securely without slipping.

Q: 10. Are the screws for securing monitor to arms included?

A: Yes - everything is included

This arm is very well-built and has a solid feel to it. It works - and it works well. It's probably not the lightest arm - but it's not like it will be the straw that breaks the camel's back... I have this on an Ikan Tilta universal rig, which is heavy as it is!

I know there r cheaper arms on the site. However their ability to hold a monitor makes them worthless. Locks into place like a charm

Like so much video equipment cine arms range in price from this to hundreds of dollars, well beyond my budget. This exceeded my expectations for an inexpensive arm, and holds our 7 Lilliput monitor really well.

Have been using this arm for the Atomos Shogun the past few weeks. Don't have any complaints thus far. I am not expecting this to last as long as some of the more expensive options but I don't see myself getting any less than 2 solid years out of this. Well made and step above quality wise from the tons of other competitors that put their prices just below this. Worth the buy!

At first I wasn't 100% sure if it would be able to CAME-TV Monitor with it's large Battery as I walk around with my VariZoom Shoulder rig for a 8-10 event. The Articulate Arm handles it with no problem. The grooves helps hold the Monitor in place with out it slowly falling down as the day goes on. Greatly quality all Metal parts and no plastic!!!! With my Panasonic UX90 I used the Impact Female 1/4-20 to Male 3/8-16 Thread Adapter so it can attach more towards the middle for weight distribution.

I use this just like a mini Magic Arm to mount flashes and other small things to my camera. The arm has standard 1/4-20 mounting studs on both ends, providing strong mounting. Also provided are adapters for hot-shoe mounting (something I don't recommend for heavier objects). Once I have my object in the desired position, tightening the knob locks the whole thing solidly. It adds a bit of weight, but not too much. Great for adding a flash to a hand-held macro rig.
