A: This sound transducer is designed for mounting on drywall surfaces, and comes with a direct screw aluminum mounting base and an attached wiring harness with EuroStyle connector. A: This is 25ft(33ft with leader for either end for loading) spool film, Double 8mm and will fit into every spool film loading Double 8mm camera, even the original KODAK from 1932. After you send the film out for processing, it will return developed to a Black & White Reversal(Positive)image film, having been slit down the middle from its 16mm width (thus why it's called DOUBLE 8mm film), with each 25ft segment spliced end to end, yielding approximately 50ft of film on a 50ft Projection Reel. The film if shot at 16 frames per second (as is the situation with most 8mm cameras made prior to 1958), and thus projected at that same speed, will yield approximately 4minutes 12 seconds of screen time. If shot at 18fps, as is the case with many cameras made after 1958, it will run for about 3 minutes 50 seconds. If transferred to video format with chain type transfer equipment, it will yield about 3 minutes 30 seconds of video time, which can be adjusted back to whatever time run length you want in video editing software. Keep in mind, film transfer is an extra service beyond the cost of developing the film. A: Fomapan R can be processed by the company DR5 Chrome, 701 W. 6th Ave., Denver, Colorado 80204-5008. However, they return the developed roll as 16mm, so you'll have to split it into 2-8mm strips yourself. Such a splitter is available on eBay.

A: Before shooting, you have to physically thread the film in the camera, though the film gate, from one film spool to the other. You then shoot one half of the width of the film. When you reach the end of the spool, you must go to very dark room, rethread it again and shoot the other and unused side of the film. There is no erasing with film

A: You can continue to shoot something else. The format sounds a little confusing, but it's essentially the same as any other film stock, just when it runs out, you flip it, thread it through the camera again, and keep shooting. In processing, they'll split it down the middle and attach the two halves together, making one long reel.

Q: 10. Will this length of double super 8 film(10m/33ft) fit in a Canon Zoom DS8 camera? This camera has a spool size of 100ft/30m, but since B&H is only selling this length, I was wondering if could just pop it in this DS8 camera with max spool size is 100ft.

A: It will work fine only keep your eye on the footage or meter counter and stop at 10 mt or 33 ft, and turn the film over -- whichever scale your camera has. I don't know the Canon but 100 ft rolls of DS8 and D8 were often sold on 16mm spools with a larger center hole. The Fomapan DS8 film comes on a spool with the smaller center hole. Worst case scenario will be to pass the film onto a 16mm camera spool or remove the spindle adapters from your camera if it has them.
