The KPDM-100 Power Distribution Module from ikan snaps onto 15mm LWS rods, and provides 4 XLR power outputs from a single fused 4-pin XLR input. This allows you to power multiple devices from a single power source, while minimizing cable clutter. It supports 12 to 24VDC power input, and comes with a replaceable 10 amp fuse.

Supports 12 to 24VDC

Mounts to 15mm LWS (Light Weight Standard) rods with a snap on clamp, so you don't have to slide the module on the rods from the ends. You can just snap it onto the rods. The clamp allows you to top mount or undersling the module.

The Unit features a chassis mount fuse, and comes with a 10 amp fuse. You can replace the fuse with a lower rated fuse to suit your specific needs.

Three outputs are lined up next to the single XLR input; one XLR output is positioned on the side.

I tried the wooden camera one, this, and considered (but did not buy) the mutiny. I'm glad I bought this one. It passes the battery state to the camera so it can warn you of low battery and shut itself off properly. It has all the regular port expansions and all for less than the other options. The only thing I wish it had was a passthrough 9pin port like the mutiny has. That way I could use it with my custom TC/genlock cables for komodo. The tradeoff though, was worth it. There was some scandal with this being Red Approved before being yanked off the list. As I understand it, this happened because the ctrl port wasn't working on a bunch of early models. The problem has apparently been fixed on new ones but Red has been slow to re add it after their first embarrassment. Regardless, what I mainly needed was TC, genlock, and battery status and it has performed these three functions without fail or issue. 5
