A: The telescoping boom arm extends to 32".

Q: 2. What diameter mic stands will this work with? Will it only fit the wider, bottom part of a mic stand? Or will it fit the slimmer tube at the top?

A: QuikLok MS303 will clamp to the bottom part, or the top part of a mic stand.

Q: 3. Does the QuickLoc QL-400 work with the PreSonus StudioLive AR16 USB 18-Channel Hybrid Performance and Recording Mixer?

A: Yes the PreSonus should fit fine as it's adjustable to widen for larger boards. I use with an Allen & Heath 14 channel board and works fine for my purpose.

Q: 4. Is it possible to just buy the clamping unit? Mine fell off and I need a new one.

A: Accomodating the width of the sheet music holder is a challenge. Q: 6. What is the length when its fold up, would it fit in a suitcase that is 29 in height? Does it come with a sleeve to put tripod in?

A: When closed down to it's smallest size, the length is 34.5 , which includes the folded table and legs. The table size is 15.75 X12.75 . The table could be removed from the pole, but it's more trouble than it's worth. I leave it assembled. No bag or sleeve is provided.

Q: 7. Does anyone know the base spread of this stand? The Auray has a 26" (66cm) base spread. I'm guessing the wider the spread, the sturdier.

A: Between 19 and 22 inches.

Q: 8. Would this stand be acceptable for on location shooting? I need something portable and sturdy.

A: We have been using a bunch of these with no issues, a little clunky to carry around, but sturdy and lightweight wins. I actually have 8 of these in the studio now for various laptops and controllers

A: This holder connects to a pole that's 0.55 to 1.18 in diameter with the included steel bracket.

Obtained this stand to support an entire Decca Tree mic set-up, and it accomplishes this task easily. I've not been worried at all about the whole thing toppling over. Easy to assemble, and clamp-like height adjusters are solidly built. 5

This is an absolutely superb stand, especially for this price. It is compact, lightweight, very solidly built and stable. It folds nicely and the locking mechanism is sturdy. It should last a lifetime of home use but I expect it to last a long time for touring musicians as well. 5

I love this stand! It has been used quite vigorously, dropped, and stepped on and still is running strong. You never have any height issues when using this, as it goes to almost 100 inches and in the other direction, reaches down to the ground. It can get a mike pretty much anywhere and you almost never have to worry about stability; as I have never had an issue with this falling over. If you are wondering, this has a built in thread adapter screw so if you need to hold something with a 3/8 thread, you just screw off the top piece. Amazing stand, it just can't be beat. Especially for the price. 5

I've had one of these stands for about 3 years and is my main gigging stand. Solid! Holds fender p and jazz basses solidly and straighter than other stands letting me place it closer to the amp and out of the way. Just bought 3 more of these little buggers for around the practice space and our lead guitarist just bought 2 himself (mainly a les paul player). 5

Beautiful, heavy stand. I like the heavy, as it is unlikely to tip over in the wind when playing outdoors. Very well made, should last forever. 5

We have a pair of these which are very useful for staged readings or for talent needing to refer to scripts nearby on set. They're also sturdy enough to hold a laptop or pad on location, so music stand belittles this items versatility in studio or on location. 5
