Achieve a glowing, dreamy effect with the 52mm Nano-X Series Black Diffusion Filter from K&F Concept. Compatible with both photography or video, this 1/8-density filter softens hard edges and provides a smoothing effect by reducing contrast and the overall value of highlights. It is frequently used to soften wrinkles, blemishes, and pores, creating a flattering image of a subject. The 1/8 density is rated for 87% light transmittance, providing a stronger black diffusion effect without a negative impact on image quality. This filter is also separately available in diffusion grades of 1/4 and 1/2.

Q: 1. I have a Canon A590IS and would like to take closer macro photosI see you have the Canon 250D and the B+W Macro Close-up. What is the difference between these? Do I need an adapter to mount either? Can the filter be left in place when the camera is shut down? If so, is the filter exposed to damage when the camera is shut down? How does the auto-focus know that this filter is in place?

A: I am sorry that I can't help you with your question as I bought the lens as a gift.

Q: 2. Does this fit the Nikon L820/L830 ?

A: No it does not. The L820/L830 camera's lenses have a special proprietary size and Nikon offers a special cap just for them. See the following link for details on the proprietary lens cap for these two models:http://bhpho.to/1rUekIE

Q: 3. Is this hood fit for panasonic Ag-hvx202AEN ?...

A: No. This hood is made specifically for the Leica Q Series Photo Cameras.

Q: 4. what do I need to use the tx with slt-a65 and rx with hvl-f42am? ( besides the tx & rx)

Q: 5. Can I move the locating pins to the holes next to the screw instead of above and below?

A: Yes, the locating pins have two positions and can be used in horizontal or vertical orientation on the Tilta L-Series Battery Plate.

Q: 6. Will this lens work with an EF-S24/2.8 STM lens? I know it will fit, but will it be useful?

A: In a Ken Rockwell review, (I can't link to it but you can find it when you search for your lens and 250D)he states, Canon also cautions not to use close-up lenses, since they weigh enough to mess up the focus system. You may want to use a longer focal length lens with the 250D

Q: 7. Is this product OEM or aftermarket?

A: Leica Lens Hood for Leica Q Series is made by Leica in Germany. Is not an aftermarket product.

Q: 8. Can this Canon 52mm 250D close up lens be used with Nikon 300mm PF VR f4 n Nikon D7200 DSLR For Macro photography?

A: The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens has 77 mm filter threads so this Canon 52mm 250D Close-up Lens will not be compatible. You can use a similar 77 mm macro close-up lens.

Q: 9. will this fit nikon 50mm 1.8?

A: yes it will.

Q: 10. I have a Nikon lens (AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200 mm, 52 mm diameter). My daughter likes to take close-up photos, and really wants to get in close on small objects. Is this Canon 250D the best option among screw-on close-up lenses or are there better options? We're not ready for a macro lens costing many hundred $.

A: The Canon 250D close up filter is a very nice close up filter, but I dont feel it is as optimal when used on this particular type of lens. It is better when coupled with a fixed focal/prime lens and best when combined with macro lenses. For the about the same cost, we offer a product called Extension Tubes which are hollow tubes that mount between the camera and the lens, creating a shorter minimum focus distance and increased magnification of the lens. We sell a set of 3 that can be mixed and matched to achieve the effect you want. They are best when manually focused. See the link below for details on the recommendation:http://bhpho.to/18FdzXT

I ordered this same filter from ... and had to return it due to scuffs on the filter. I sent the filter back and ordered another from BH photo. The filter ... was pristine. The filter itself performs great and helps take the glare out of early morning soccer games.

I use this polarizer when filming landscapes under the hot Arizona sun, and this results in richer blue skies, whiter clouds, and overall crisper images. No complaints.

Like any good filter, this one does what it needs to do: protects the glass. Also, I haven't noticed any unwanted flare.

I take a lot of pictures at carshows and airshows and have been working on a calendar for some models that pose with lowriders and minitrucks. This has given me a night and day difference on shots that have reflections or glare from the sunlight on them. For instance, there was a shot I did that had the windshield of the car blasted out, turning an otherwise good picture into a complete turd. I took the same shot again with the polarizer mounted and it's almost as if the windshield isn't there. Airshow pictures resulted in nice, deep blue skies and I'm just generally ending up with better color as shot and not having to do as much, if any, postprocessing.I'm thoroughly pleased with this thing ...

This filter worked great. I ended up returning it because I returned the lens I bought it for. When I buy my next lens, I will get another one of these filters.

I use this filter almost every time I go outdoors to shoot. Works quite well and is much less expensive than some of the other brands of polarizing filters. If you purchase only one filter, make it this one.
