Q: 1. Will I get a warning when the subscription is coming to an end so I can continue using the software continuously?

A: Yes - No doubt about that :)

Q: 2. I am new to photo editing. What happens to your access of your photo library when your subscription expires. Do you have to renew to get access? I don't like the idea that you can loose your photos should my subscription expires. I would prefer to transfer my photos to an external hard rive like I do now with my Apple Photos application.

A: When you use a program like Lightroom, you will have to create initially what is referred to as a Catalog. The Catalog is only accessible through the program and that is what keeps all your edits and any other changes you have made to your photos. The actual location of the photos is determined by the user, generally on an external hard drive. If you don't renew, you wouldn't lose access to any of the photos on your external hard drive but you wouldn't be able to work on the catalog anymore. If you had any information in the cloud, you would need to make sure to get that offline if you do not already have it.

Q: 3. Does the download code (or card with code) ever expire? Thinking of buying a bunch of them while the price is good, but won't activate some of them till years from now (don't want to load them all at once).

A: Adobe has not listed a date that they would expire, but if you activate them, it would add on to your plan and extend it.

Q: 4. I would like to buy this plan for my granddaughter as a Christmas present. Can I buy it now and have her download it at Christmas?

A: Yes, you can do that. Also, you can buy more than one, and activate all of them at once in order to extend the subscription for multiple years.

Q: 5. Anybody know how the cloud storage part of this work? thanks

A: I have not used it yet, but it allows your images to be stored so that you may edit them from any internet connected PC or tablet that the mobile version of Lightroom runs on. Lightroom Classic is the original, full-featured Lightroom that I use, and Lightroom (non Classic), which still lacks many features of Classic, is what stores the images to the cloud (I think). You get some cloud storage included in the subscription and can buy more. Basically, it allows you to do full editing on your tablet, and it syncs the edits across all of your devices automatically.

Q: 6. If I buy the download option (rather than the card with activation code option) because it's a Dealzone special today, can I download in a couple of months after my new computer arrives or do I have to download now?

A: Activation will start as soon as you redeem the code, so you could purchase the software now and activate the software when you get the computer in several months.

Q: 7. Can I use the software in Europe after purchase, or only in the US? Thanks

A: You can use this software in Europe so long as your account is set up with a US address.

Q: 8. Aside from less Cloud storage, does this include everything that the "Photography" bundle purchased direct from Adobe has?

A: The Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan with 20GB Cloud Storage is the same as purchasing directly from Adobe.

Q: 9. Are there any issues with running on windows 10? Requirements only mention 7 & 8

A: I've been running mine for several months on Windows 10, both 32- and 64-bit versions and have not experienced any issues.
