A: Creative Cloud applications can work offline, however they do need to check in with Adobe at least once every 30 days to verify the subscription status.

A: I bought this through B&H and did require support from Adobe a few months later. Adobe was excellent in their support, where I purchased the product never came up. You do not need to purchase from Adobe to receive their support.

Q: 5. My current subscription doesn't expire until Dec 2017. I don't see how to activate this subscription in The Adobe CC website without cancelling my old subscription. Can I add this my subscription without cancelling the old one and how do I do that?

A: Yes. When you activate one of these 12 month coupons it just extends your current end date. If you pay month to month it will just push your next payment due date out 12 months. I've done this twice and it works great. Make sure you perform any activations while you are logged on to your account.

Q: 6. I am new to photo editing. What happens to your access of your photo library when your subscription expires. Do you have to renew to get access? I don't like the idea that you can loose your photos should my subscription expires. I would prefer to transfer my photos to an external hard rive like I do now with my Apple Photos application.

A: When you use a program like Lightroom, you will have to create initially what is referred to as a Catalog. The Catalog is only accessible through the program and that is what keeps all your edits and any other changes you have made to your photos. The actual location of the photos is determined by the user, generally on an external hard drive. If you don't renew, you wouldn't lose access to any of the photos on your external hard drive but you wouldn't be able to work on the catalog anymore. If you had any information in the cloud, you would need to make sure to get that offline if you do not already have it.

Q: 7. Will I get a warning when the subscription is coming to an end so I can continue using the software continuously?

A: Yes - No doubt about that :)

Q: 8. If I buy the download option (rather than the card with activation code option) because it's a Dealzone special today, can I download in a couple of months after my new computer arrives or do I have to download now?

A: Activation will start as soon as you redeem the code, so you could purchase the software now and activate the software when you get the computer in several months.

Q: 9. Can this only be used on one computer? Can it ever be removed and reinstalled on a new PC or Mac? I can't imagine it would not.
