The Magnus VPH-20 Video Pan & Tilt Fluid Head supports up to 11 lb loads and provides smooth 360° pan and 180° tilt adjustment. It features a flat head design with a 3/8"-16 tripod mount thread on the bottom, which can be converted to a 1/4"-20 thread via an included reducing adapter. Thanks to the flat head design and these two mount types, the head can be attached to virtually any tripod as well as directly mounted on most camera sliders and other equipment. A removable, right-sided pan arm is included for maneuvering the head.

The VPH-20 is designed with independent pan and tilt locks as well as tension knobs. The included quick release plate features a cork surface padding for your camera, and it has a 1/4"-20 camera screw and a locking pin to prevent your camera from accidentally removing.

A: I do not use this head on a tripod so no level is needed. I have one specific use (Cam Corder operation) and I'm shooting anywhere from 40 - 130 yds so I don't notice if the camera is perfectly level or not. However, I do like the head and the rest of it's features. Everything that I have purchased through B&H is as advertised and good quality. Ron D.

A: The head has a 3/8-16 threaded female mount with a 1/4-20 bushing adapter allowing it to mount on most tripods or other supports. If your tripod had one of those screw-on mounts it should be no problem.

A: This head will fit on any tripod, either 3/8 or 1/4 screw. This depends on whether you can get the tripod head off. We do not carry that tripod but the opinion is you can remove the ballhead and then you can put the Magnus in place.
