The batteries must be protected from damage and short circuit or installed in a device. A: I shoot weddings with Canon cameras and speedlites. Without the Turbo I would go thru a lot of AA batteries. I now use only two sets of 4-AA batteries -- I change them when I notice that recycle time is reduced.

A: Yes, you just have to make sure you get the cable that matches your flas. The battery themselves are universal, the cables are not.

A: That is correct. Quantum currently does not supply a strap with the battery pack. It does have a belt clip built into it. If you regard the Accessories tab on this product link, we do feature two different clamp options which will allow you to connect the battery pack to a stand via its built-in clip, and there is also the option of the strap listed as well.
