The SHAPE Quick Release Plate Adapter gives you the freedom to remove your camera from your tripod, stabilizer, or support rig without having to detach it from the plate. It includes a Manfrotto 501PL style sliding plate, meaning that the plate will also work with any Manfrotto system that accepts a 501PL plate. A 1/4"-20 screw and a 3/8"-16 screw are included so you can use the plate with various cameras. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the underside of the adapter allow you attach the plate to a tripod, stabilizer, or support rig. Three bubble levels are available to assist in leveling your camera.

Q: 3. Does this item dock with V lock batteries OK?

A: Just checked with IDX v-mount batt and does not connect due to the guide channels in the batt. If the V mount was on a flat surface you may have some luck.

Q: 4. When the QR plate is installed on this adapter, is the camera screw aligned over the center of the adapter base? I need to know if I will be able to use this with my matte box on my 15LWS standard shoulder rig.

The phenomenon of conflict with the tightening key will not be a problem with our quickrelease plate because it is a ratchet knob which allows you to reposition as you want. A: Yes it is. This is compatible with the E-Image EH6P Quick Release Plate, which is the plate used on the EK60AAM.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with E-Image EG05A2 tripod?

A: The quick release plate in this different then the plate used in the EG05A2 Tripod. However you could install this entire system on top of that tripod to "retrofit" it to work with the included plate.
