Although the license server is Windows-based, both Mac and Windows computers can be used on the network to run Media Composer.

What i did noticed though, is that the ring has an opposite logic when tightening and loosening, so have you tried max it the other way? Can you move it when the ring is approx. in the middle? In my opinion you should be able to, without being worried about breaking something.Hope you find a solution :)
