Q: 2. If I have the X100F should I upgrade to the X100V?

A: The x100F is still a very good camera. If the 3 extra frames per second and two extra megapixels is worth the cost to replace your current camera it could be worth it to you. If you are looking for a big upgrade you might consider going with a larger sensor camera.

A: You would have to download the Fujifilm Camera Remote app from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for use on Android or Apple iOS smartphones and tablets. You would follow the instructions concerning syncing the camera to your smartphone/tablet via the camera's built-in Wi-Fi capability, then use the "Import Image" feature in the app and select the images you wish to transfer from the camera to your smartphone/tablet.

A: Unfortunately, the SmallRig L-Shape Grip for FUJIFILM X100VI/X100V (Silver) is not compatible with the SmallRig Leather Half Case Kit for FUJIFILM X100VI. The case does not have a space for the grip.

A: The image quality would be excellent when using the Fujifilm X100V with their dedicated conversion lenses.

Q: 10. Filter Size ?

A: If you want to attach a filter to your lens, you will need an adapter. I would highly recommend the FUJIFILM AR-X100 Adapter Ring (Silver) BH #FUARX100S. Once you have the adapter, you can use a 49 mm filter with the camera.

I've pretty much isolated my photo interests after 60 years and this is the perfect camera for my favorite kind of photography, spontaneous people photography and environmental portraiture.

This is my 3rd X100 series camera and I thought long and hard about upgrading from my X100F but finally decided to pull the trigger and spend the money after I found a buyer for my F. The improvements are definitely appreciated and the new lens is a major improvement over the old one. It is incredibly sharp at close range. My first camera was a Leica IIIG which I still own, and the looks of this beautiful machine remind me of my old Leica. I hope that the next version will include a Zoom lens (maybe 28-70mm equivalent) but nothing will top the sharpness and clarity of the new lens on this baby.

I am so in love with the Fuji X100V, i've carried it around with me every day since I got it! There are more photos of my family this week than the whole last year combined. The form factor, the built in film presets, the 35mm focal length, everything is perfect. My only gripe is that the grip is a little shallow, so i'd definitely recommend a wrist strap of some kind so you don't feel like it's going to slip out of your hands when you're using it. I actually just switched over entirely from Canon mirrorless systems (EOS R's) to the Fuji line, and I should have done it sooner. I love the silver version, it feels very much like an old 35mm film camera. The black color would be great for street photogs who want more anonymity. This camera makes shooting enjoyable again! 10/5 for sure! Love this camera!

I am extremely happy with this camera. I am typically the kind of person who gets buyers remorse about everything and the thought of spending $1400 on this was concerning. But, I've had it for two weeks and I haven't had a second thought about it.
The styling is great (even compared with my Leica M3), the lens is sharp, and I love the weather sealing (though I will not take this into a rainstorm--and you shouldn't either). I have no problems with my focus ring. It's smooth with little sound. Regarding the overheating, it does get warm. This may be a problem depending on the type of shooter you are. I always have my camera off until I shoot (the startup time is really fast), and when I'm shooting I am rarely doing it continuously for long periods. The only time my camera gets warm is when I'm diving through menus and playing with the film simulations for 10+ minutes --even then its just noticeable. If you shoot long video it may be a problem...
I have not owned any of the previous x100 cameras, so I can't compare it to them. But, I can say that there is not a lot about this camera I would want to improve. Love it.

This isn't the most technically advanced nor high tech camera available. It is the most enjoyable to use and is simply fun. It has the feel of a real vintage camera and makes me think that I am holding my first camera a Kodak 35.

I have held off a long time trying to decide which version of the X100 line to get, and during the midst of Covid decided this 100V would finally be the one. And so far it has been everything I had hoped for.

I had always wanted a small travel, everyday, street camera that I could throw on my shoulder and kind of forget about it until I saw an interesting shot, and this camera is pretty much exactly that. It's a very responsive camera and easy to change settings quickly with a lot of on body dials. Some of the things are a little confusing in the menus and not the most user friendly if you haven't used Fuji before but slowly it becomes easier the more you use it. Also even though I enjoy editing RAW photos the JPG's are actually pretty fantastic.

The three biggest knocks I have on it, are that the video is kind of pointless. It's not necessarily bad but I do find it causes the camera to overheat and the stabilization is definitely not great. If you want video I would say look into the XT line. The other knock isn't a major thing but I wish it was just a bit smaller, like the Ricoh size so I could throw it in my pocket if need be. That being said it still is a relatively small camera and easy to stash away in a backpack. Lastly, is price. It might be hard to justify this camera when other cameras like the new XT4 with a lens are only like 800 more. When you consider that means you can change your shots and have better video, it might make more sense to invest in something like that. The X100V almost feels like an enthusiasts camera more so than a pro or blogger type camera.

I'm giving it a 5 stars mainly because I love what it is as a picture taking camera for myself. I had been looking for a great digital street photography camera to allow me to take more photos than my film camera, and it truly brought back some joy in digital photography I had been missing. If you're looking for your next street photography camera this one should be high on the list.

The X100V is just about the perfect travel and street camera. The 35mm equivalent lens is wide enough to capture most travel scenes, but narrow enough not to distort people when doing full length shots.
