The Friction Video Head from Libec is a compact video tripod head with an 11 lb maximum payload, friction movement, fixed counterbalance, and continuous drag. It features a native 75mm half ball and has a flat base with a 3/8"-16 mounting thread on the bottom. It's directly compatible with 75mm bowl tripods and can also be mounted directly on sliders and other supports via the flat base. A tie-down handle is included for securing it to bowl tripods.

The head features a snap-in quick release system that lets you attach the included camera plate from above, and it has a sliding range of 0.5" once secured. It comes with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and an anti-twist video pin beside it. The included pan handle can be used on either side of the head, and an optional second handle is supported.

A: Yes. I use a Manfrotto adapter with an Induro tripod having a 75mm bowl. The adapter is made for a Manfrotto bowl but IT WORKS WITH OTHER BRANDS. Just throw away the screws and put the adapter in place. It works great. A: While it is compatible with the extremely popular Manfrotto 501PL type quick release plate, it is not with Arca Swiss. What you can do however is get an adapter that is Arca Swiss compatible, attach it to the S4 501PL type quick release plate and you are good to go. Here are two possibilities. A: I just bought a Viltrox VX-18M which has great legs (and a not-so-great fluid head) and a 60mm half bowl. You can buy the tripod just for the legs and put this Manfrotto head on it.
