Never let the audio ruin your videos again.

This is a fantastic mic for picking up nat sound. I use it at weddings, and it's perfect. I was a broadcast journalist (MMJ) for five years, and this mic is at least as good as bigger, more expensive shotgun mics used on those cameras. The Lyre Shockmount is also really cool. It looks flimsy, even feels flimsy, but it's not. Holds up really well and reduces unnecessary rattles and taps you might get otherwise.

Works perfectly with my A7s ii. Love that the light now stays on all the time it is on.

If you want to upgrade from your camera's built-in mic, this Rode mic is a good option. It's lightweight, small, very easy to use (plug into camera, turn on, shoot video). I find it very practical for general daily use - holiday/birthday parties, road trips, interview-style videos. It seems high-priced, but I rationalized it as a one-time purchase for solving most of my audio problems (which it has).

Just got this microphone in today and put it through a quick test on the camera and it was great. My expectations were for it to record well at 3 feet but it has done a great job at 5 and 6 feet away. I purchased a Rode VideoMic and it had an issue where it wasn't working properly. This was my first purchase with B&H so I wasn't sure how they were going to be with a return. When I called up they said it was not a problem at all and they sent me a label to send the bad microphone back, which went out today. I was impressed with the way they handled the issue so I ordered a Rode VideoMic Pro after speaking with the representative from B&H, he said it was the best microphone under 400. After testing it I would say it is safe to say he is correct! As a first time buyer at B&H I am glad I purchased through them, I will be making future purchases with them because of the way they handled my issue with the bad microphone and because the representative I spoke to was knowledgeable. In short: If you need a great microphone and want to do business with a good place then buy this mic. from B&H.

I'm new to the world of video and wanted to get my feet wet before investing lots of money. The mic seems to be working great. I tested it in a windy situation and there was a clear difference in quality when using the different settings. These conditions were extreme so I can only imagine how good the mic would be indoors in a controled setting.

First amazing job by Rode. there support is awesome and they get back to you right away. Would recommend 100% 10/10 sounds amazing and i well built.
