I have only had this lens a couple of weeks, but really love how versatile it is. Great shots every time, and the IS does a great job capturing the shot. I would recommend this to those new to photography, and those who are tired of always changing lens'. 5

I love this lens for it being such a flexible lens. I am able to use it for indoors close shots, and outdoor distant shots. With the I.S. lens, it makes it easier to shoot in lower light situations without a tripod. This is the main lens in my bag. 5

Although the lens is a little heavier than I had hoped, it will be the primary multi-purpose lens on my Canon T4i when traveling around the world. The zoom is quick, and relatively effective at all ranges. 5

i have only been using the len for about 3-4 weeks so it is a little early for a review, but does appear to be nice. regarding lens creep, the lens does have a lock to prevent creeping. 5

It's great for everyday use. Changing lens is no longer neccessary during your travel. Sharp focus, wide zoom range, great stablizer. Barrel distortion is noticable at wide angle, if you care. 5

This a great product, it has a high coverage, and and a decent f stop, the only thing bad about it, is the price, but I would say that it is worth it. 5

I purchased this lens to serve as a one-size fits all travel lens on a Canon 50D. This is a very good lens for the amateur photo enthusiast. I have only had the lens for 2 months now, but have not really noticed any distortion or vignetting in any of my photos to date. The lens is a little heavy when compared to other Canon lenses I own, but is well built and has a very smooth feel. The lens lock feature is a must as the lens will tend to extend while walking around. 5
