I'm a big fan of this flash. Recently started photography and use the TTL setting which provides great flash for social settings. My favorite aspect is how unassuming the flash is visually -- generally using for party/social settings and people respond a lot differently to the Pen than larger more ostentatious flashes. I get more natural/candid photos which are still well lit. Of couse i'm not a professional & could be that this flash is not versatile enough for some users. One draw back is I always have to carry AAA batteries around because the flash dies pretty quickly. Of course it claims to take about 100shots between 200&400 ISO and I find it takes close to 150/200 but the charge slows down progressively as the batteries die. Charge is very quick with fresh batteries so I tend to change my batteries even when they still have half life just to keep snapping fast All in all i'm very happy with this product 5

Nikon has taken the path of providing a well built weather sealed line of lenses at a reasonable price, small and light. Canon is building wonderful lenses for their new Mirrorless cameras Super build construction, big/heavy and very fast but also at a very high price. The Nikon Z lenses are everything you need, I have never dropped a lens so they do not have to be bullet proof at $1000 more. Also it accepts a front filter, protect that glass and who knows you might need a ND or Polarizer. 5

I updated my Tamron 14-30 2.8 to this lens because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. While I would have liked a ;2.8 to use for Astro photography, my 24- 70 2.8 Z is more than filling the bull. 5

Using with Z6 - great wide angle performance. No vignetting at all at widest setting (noticed other reviewers mentioned this - I am not experiencing at all). 5

This is an excellent lens for the Z series: light, fast, compact, and sharp. The only oddity the the retraction lock to keep things extra-compact for carrying. But that’s an easy thing to get accustomed to. Highly recommended. 5

I switched to the Z system to shed weight. The 24-70mm has been a great performer for most things, but I felt the need for an option for wider fields of view. I rented the 14-30mm and read all of the reviews. It did so well that I bought it. The close focusing on both of these lenses far out weighs the one stop loss for me. If you're looking for a bokeh machine, no zoom is going to suffice; if you want great pictures, go with these f/4 workhorses. 5
