Q: 1. What lens should go with this type of camera. I only used a large camera once, which I borrowed from a friend. I don't know much about large format, so please, be nice to me. thanks!

A: To add to the previous reply, we currently offer the Linhof Super-Symmar Aspheric XL 80mm f/4.5 Lens in Copal #0 Shutter, BH # LISSX80 as the only traditional large format film lens that cover up to 5 x 7 format. Additionally, our Used Department may reach some large format lenses and you could always check back there for updates. https://bhpho.to/3wN2pTp

Q: 2. Would this camera be suitable for tintype photography?

A: Yes, the Toyo-View 45AX 4 x 5" Field Camera can be used for Tintype Photography.

Q: 3. Would this case be suitable for a Broncolor Scoro A4s laying on it's side?

A: It would not be large enough of a case.

Q: 4. what is this camera made of? Is it metal? Where is it made?

A: This camera is made of metal and is made in Japan.

Q: 5. Does the lid also have the ABS plastic wall? Would the lid be able to handle ~ without sagging, or damage ~ an old-school Gitzo Studex tripod, maybe 10+ lbs., staped on top? Thx!

A: Yes the lid would have an ABS plastic wall under the fabric.

Q: 6. Can the interior dividers be moved or removed to change the configuration of the space?

    A: Yes they can.

Q: 7. I don't see the luggage straps pictured? Do they come with the case? How long are they? Thank you!

A: The CCV45 does not have trolley strap on the back.

Q: 8. can I adapt a digital back (mamiya leaf) on it?

A: I contacted Linhof with your inquiry. They state that you may purchase the Linhof Stitching Slide for Graflok Back, B&H # LISSGB, along with the Linhof Mamiya 645 AF/AFD Type Back Adapter Plate for Linhof M679 or M679cs with Universal Adapter, B&H # LI645AFAM, for use with Mamiya/Leaf or Phase One digital backs. They also asked if you wanted a groundglass with sensor marks? The Linhof Groundglass Adapter for Stitching Slide, B&H # LI001690S, would work with the stitching slide they list above. They also asked what size sensor or which model digital back are you using? Unfortunately, this was not listed in your response. As such, it may be better to ask such specific questions similar to the above (especially when adapting an item from a different brand to another brand) by e-mailing us at prophoto@bhphotovideo.com for assistance with your inquiry.

Q: 9. where is this camera made? does it use same lens boards as Toyo 45AII?

A: As per our records, this camera is manufactured in Japan. It would use standard 158 x 158mm lens boards from Toyo.

Q: 10. What is the height of the Tenba CCV45 case? The stated internal dimensions in the product specs for the Tenba CCV45 case are listed at 12 x 15 x 21.5in but they were not specific to what each number was referencing. Obviously the 21.5in length is easy to discern from the product photos but width and height less so. It my intention is to use this case for a 4x5 monorail view camera (Calumet CC 402 wide field). Since in this type of case the monorail view camera is hung upside down and resting on the case’s dividers I would need approximately 13in or so of internal height clearance for this to work. If this case is 15in tall then all would appear to be fine. However if the case is only 12in tall then the camera would not fit.

    A: 21.5W X 12H X 15D
